  • Great Rug! Perfected my livingroom

    The rug is overall very nice for the price. It is able to withstand frequent vacuuming and 2 dogs that love it. I was slightly disappointed that the sizing was a bit off but not a real problem for me. As for the shade variation, I actually purchased it because others stated that it was off white which is what I was looking for. I also purchased a thick pad which I would highly recommend.

  • Alexa Plush Rug

    This rug was ordered for a nursery, and it feels great underfoot, either with shoes or barefooted. I was happy to see the color and plushness lived up to the picture and description, and that the workmanship is finished on all edges and the underside. I would recommend this product and would purchase again.

  • Soft plush shag rug!!!

    I bought this rug in white and wow so amazing! It's very soft, thick,fluffy and beautiful! NO SHEDDING AT ALL!!! The white color is very accurate. It brightens my family room! I will be purchasing another one in cream for my living room! Very satisfied with this purchase! thank you Overstock!

  • misleading color

    this rug would have gotten 5 stars if the color displayed online were the color of the actual rug. i ordered the glacier blue, which appears to be a light blue/silver tone in the picture. this rug is more teal than anything. not at all as expected. this is the 3rd time i have received a rug from overstock where this was the case. the first 2 i sent back. this one i am keeping and trying to make it work simply because i am tired of losing out on the cost of return shipping. again-the rug itself is great and a bargain, but the unexpected color is a true bummer.

  • Perfect Black Shag Rug

    My wife and I were looking a long time for an 8 x 10 Black Shag Rug that was affordable. We did not find any in our price range, the ones I found were ****. This rug has a perfect fit, color, and feel. It tied the room together and I've received many compliments. It is not too shaggy in length and it has no pilling/shedding. You will not find a better price if you are looking for the 8 x 10 SHAG, especially is you want this type of quality. What a deal!

  • Stay away from this if you are sensitive to smell!

    This is a nice product, but unfortunately it must be manufactured where preservatives of some kind are applied. It was extremely toxic to my husband and me. I have mild COPD, but my symptoms were terribly exacerbated by the smell. It overwhelmed the upstairs of our home and took several days for the odor to clear after I returned it. I would absolutely NOT recommend this! However, the return was not an issue and I received a full refund. Thanks for standing behind your products, Overstock. I have, and will continue, to shop with you.

    This is a rather thin rug, so I highly recommend getting a thicker felt pad for cushiness. Perfect for the bedroom!

Yes, it has a stiff backing, however, be forewarned. I purchased this in dark green (8x10) and the smell was toxic. It did not air out, caused breathing problems for me (I have asthma/COPD)and I returned it. Would not purchase it again...ever! 8banana on May 30, 2013

Hi gphi04, we tried verifying this information with our support team. We were told glacier color is closer to a blue, more like a light blue color. The last thing we want to do is contradict another customer but we want to share some insight from our end. At the same time color is relative and could change significantly from person to person.
