Shag Rug
This carpet was nice for the price. It had to be rolled out and stretched out for a little while so the corners would stop rolling up (had it shipped to Alaska). The description states this carpet is white. Actually it is more an off-white/cream color. I wanted a "pure white" shag carpet, but overall I am satisfied with this purchase. It does shed slightly but manageable.

Shag Rug
When I searched on Overstock.com I asked for wool only and this rug came up in the search and I didn't bother to confirm - I should have realized from the price. The rug is not wool and smells very chemically. It also sheds - ever time my infant rolls around on it he comes up with fuzz in his mouth. I can't see it staying together for more that 6 months.

Luxurious rug
The color, butterscotch, is lighter than expected. I also didn't realize that there were at least three definitely different kinds of shag, some almost white. The rug has the silkiest feel of any rug I've ever had. You could just lay on it and "pet" it for hours. Our boxer mix dog has chosen it as his daily resting spot, which is fine since the rug shows no imprint or hair. I immediately ordered another rug, same size and color, which I laid next to the first in order to increase the coverage area. Because of the thick shag you can't see the seam.

Very inhappy
Do not order this carpet if you want a shag rug. This pile is short, hard and awful. Very unhappy.

Little thinner than expected.
Previously had same rug in 5'x7', so was a little disappointed that this rug was noticeable thinner than that one. Looks good though & would purchase again.

White rug is terrible qualtity
I've purchased this rug in another color before and loved it. Something must have changed because the white rug is a terrible quality -- think I've found higher quality rugs at a better value at those big box stores. Skip on purchasing the white rug, unless you need it for a basement or garage just to give some generic floor covering to cover up a paint spill or something. This will not provide much comfort or aesthetic appeal. (If you are still purchasing, you might notice a bunch of comments about the white color not being white. I would still call it white, but it has a slight gray-based undertone to it. .

Had to return. Color shipped was white compared to cream color described. Otherwise it was a nice rug.

a bit disappointed, but it will do
the measurements are accurate and the color is perfect. I purchased this rug to use in an area in my bedroom to protect newly laid hardwood flooring, so not a high traffic area. It will be fine for my purpose but I was a bit disappointed by the pile. It is not a fluffy or full-pile type shag. It is more a loop-type shag. I must admit that it was not what I expected but as I said, it will serve my purpose.
