This looks and sounds like a great idea, however, they do not measure up. The links do not stay together well at all, within minutes my kids had the pieces all over the room. It's a good idea, but the quality is not that great, they are very thin and do piece together like a puzzle, however, they also come apart as easy or easier than a puzzle. Also, once pieced together you could see that not all pieces were the exact same shade of green, so it did not look like one continuous carpet. I am returning this item.

While these are not going to be used for the intended purpose (play room floor), these are perfect for a model railroad platform covering. This offers a very nice, sturdy, nearly natural green cushion for the railroad tracks to sit on.
