Natural Rug, Unnatural Smell!
This rug is beautiful, and the quality is very good for the price. I got it for my kitchen. It arrived yesterday. When we opened the packaging it filled the house with a horrible "formaldehyde-type" smell. This "new carpet" outgassing smell filled up all of downstairs rooms! We ventilated the kitchen for a few hours yesterday. Today I sat with my kids down to have lunch and by the time lunch was over i had a terrible headache. The kitchen is ventilating again. I hate to return this item. I'm going to see if ventilating for a couple of more days works. Dissapointed that an eco-friendly product is seemingly doused with some very un-eco friendly chemicals :-(

Very nice oval braided rug
Very nice looking braided jute rug. I have it under the kitchen table and I think it will hold up very well.

The SMELLY Rug
This rug SMELLS like harsh chemicals, my whole livingroom has a moldy odor to it. The fibers were sticking out from everywhere and the rug is dirty in some areas. I am very dissapointed, I returned it for a full refund.

This rug is fabulous!!
This rug really enhances my dining area and the cherry wood table and chairs. It couldn't be better. I am very happy with the quality. Spills clean up nicely and I get many compliments on it.

Feels great, looks great, maybe doesn't wear great
The rug is surprisingly soft, not nearly as rough as I had expected. That's a good thing, it feels very comfortable on bare feet. It vacuums well and is so lightweight it's easy to reverse. The only concern I have with the rug is how well it will wear. After three weeks some of the fibers on the edges are coming loose. I've also noticed a couple small breaks in the stitching of the coils. At this stage it's not a big deal to repair and I hope this isn't going to be a regular part of the upkeep.

The rug is everything it said. I love the fact that is natural. Looks great in the room. Perfect size I needed. Love the fact that it is oval. Not easy to find. I love shopping Overstock. Great deals and good products. I also like the fact you can send other people presents online. Easy and fun.
