Alden Marble 2-piece Table Set

I ordered these tables after seeing them online with overstock. I received delivery quickly however the marble top on the coffee table was broke in half & table base to end table was chipped.After re delivery the 2nd set of tables the marble top once again was broked in half on the coffee table. At this point I was getting a little frustrated and esp after dealing with the online rep from overstock that seemed to have trouble understanding what the problem was. After talking with a different rep the marble top was re odered and delivered once again.The 3rd delivery came and this table top was not broken. I feel the price that the tables cost they should have been packaged better so that they wouldn't have broked during transportation. I also had to re drill new holes in the wood cradle that the marble sits on top of that connects to the base. The pre drilled holes did not line up. I have a large 6 place granite table that was delivered from a different company and never had any trouble with delivery and the piece is significantly heavier.The tables themselves are very attractive and I am happy with the outcome that eventually happened. I don't feel that it was the fault of overstock that the tables had to be re ordered so many times but the mfr for the pkg/shpg.I would buy these tables again because they are so pretty and I haven't seen anything like them in the stores around here.
