Customer Reviews
I purchased two of these for my two bathroom renovations. They look great. However, it is difficult to assemble because the directions are exploded diagrams of the pieces used in each step. It would be helpful if the instructions had included tips such as: place the wooden pegs into the side panels first, not the shelves.
I received my item with in a week was shocked when I saw the size box it came in, and not to my surprise it was in a bunch of pieces. I would have been ok with that if the assembly instructions would have had words not just pictures. I had to call the 800 number on the box for help received none! eventually I had to drill different holes to get the screws to stay put,. I would have sent the item back, but getting it back in the box would have been just as difficult. I do like the way it looks, be careful during assembly the product chips easily. It is top heavy but works for our lighter tolietries.
This product has the ability to be really nice, but several issues with it should be addressed. First, the support bar across the back legs needs to be attached once the cabinet is set over the toilet, or it will catch the plumbing as you install it. In my bath, the plumbing happens to be right at that height, so I have it on the bottom with the legs pushed against it. In addition, the doors are slightly offset from each other, so one is slightly higher than the other. The hardware doesn't have slots to adjust this. This needs to be attached to the wall, a fact that is not listed in the description. The instructions are not particularly clear, so I landed up putting holes in the front of the bottom shelf before I realized I had it turned around. You definitely should have a bottle of wood glue handy to put in the wooden pins, as the amount of glue provided is minimal at best.
