the description was accurate but i was surprised how comfortable it was. i have 2 herniated discs & am very sensitive to a bad mattress & i slept like a baby on this inflated mattress.

We purchased a sleeper sofa with a horribly thin mattress intending to replace it immediately with this AirDream mattress. The difference in comfort is night and day. With the AirDream, the mattress sits up higher so it is closer to the height of a regular bed and it is extremely comfortable. I have no qualms about putting my 70-year-old parents on this mattress when they visit.

We received the new mattress timely and it looks as pictured/described. Our complaint is that this new mattress had two factory defects upon opening the box. The first problem we noted was that a 4" portion of the top binding wasn't stitched leaving what looked like a rip or hole in the top. This wouldn't have deterred us from using the mattress (after all, you can always seal up a small hole with duct tape right?) but we were really disappointed when we blew up the mattress ... it wouldn't hold air as it appears there is a defect in the deflate valve. The deflate valve wouldn't stay closed no matter what we did so even if you got air into the mattress, it immediately leaked out. We held the valve cover down manually just to see if the mattress was comfortable and we can honestly say the mattress felt very comfortable and would be a huge improvement over the standard mattress with the sofa bed. However, it needs to stay inflated. And frankly, the valve closing mechanism looks sort of cheap and not well made. Overstock was very helpful and offered to immediately reorder the item and send it back out as well as arrange for UPS pick up of the defective mattress. We haven't received the new mattress yet but hope for the best. Frankly, if it hadn't turned out to be so much more comfortable than the existing mattress we have we wouldn't have bothered with a replacement. Wish me luck!

Very nice mattress. Bought for our sofa bed in our guest suite and will be buying another one for the living room sofa. Easy to set up and put away. Have not personally slept on it, but have laid on it. Guests say its very comfy! Great purchase, would definitely recommend!!

This is the most amazing improvement for a sofa bed. My husband had knee problems and needed to sleep downstairs on the sofabed. When I opened it and saw the old mattress which was pitiful. I ordered a new mattress the same night. I had heard of these air mattress for campers. Thought I d try it. It is absolutely amazing. He used the new mattress after his knee surgery two weeks later. What a difference. We both laid on it and watched the Olympics. Our 6' 6" son in law tried it out and liked it too! That's a big test!

We used the Air Dream Sofa Bed Mattress at our children's home and were so comfortable and satisfied that we ordered one for our 10 yeard old Queen Size Sofa Bed. Our guests no longer complain about their sleeping accomodations.

The full size fit perfectly into the sleeper sofa. The springs popped right up. Initially we didn't read the instructions and had the pump inlet at the bottom of the bed where it seemed practical but then noticed that it was to be placed in the upper right hand corner. The mattress was such an improvement from the one we replaced as the air bed on the top protected us from the cross bar and also the springs that used to dig into our back. The mattress folded right back into the sofa with no problem. An excellent buy. The reviews for this mattress were all good and influenced my purchase.

Not as great as other reviews I read, but certainly a vast improvement over the mattress that came with my sofa bed. Don't expect miracles, but definitely an upgrade.

We are using this for out pull-out couch, which is serving as a bed for my husband and I this summer while we are living in an apartment and waiting for our new home to be finished. Our king bed had to go to storage, so this was the perfect solution. It's comfortable & fills and empties fast & easily. You can fold it right up in the couch when it's completely deflated. What a difference over the typical sleeper sofa matteress! I'd take this camping, too! Great product!

We have an old sofa sleeper and the existing mattress was very uncomfortable. A friend told me about the AirDream Sofa Bed Mattress. After researching replacement mattresses for our RV I came across the AirDream. It's one of the few mattresses that fit the smaller than standard queen's that are in many RV's. Overstock had the best price and the shipping was so fast it was unbelievable. So far the AirDream has been an excellent choice and is an affordable and HUGE improvement over the junk mattress that the RV manufacturer installs as standard. This bed set up so quickly and in the restricted space of the RV bedroom that my wife and I looked at each other like this is too good to be true.
