  I really like this product. It is easy to use and easy to fill with a filter that only needs to be changed once a year. Also, should you need it, their technical support is excellent and stands behind the product. (I used it because I had a question about why it was turning off unexpectedly and they easily solved the problem.) The one (and so far only) negative about the product is that it has no indicator to let you know the humidity percent.

  At first it was great, but now it makes a loud noise and doesn't seem to be doing what it's supposed to do!

  Received this air purifier in January and it did an outstanding job for a few months. We kept it clean but for some reason, it now makes a static/zapping noise. We reviewed the owners manual and followed the instructions on how to clean this purifier for the zapping issue, but it still keeps doing it - so now we don't use it at all for fear of starting a fire.

  Performed poorly, when compared to other dehumidifiers we've owned filled this unit was slow to fill the bucket. It was also noisy which was ok because we located it in a remote spot in the basement, it could not be heard on the second floor. I suspect whoever reassembled upon completing the refurbishment did not take the time to correctly locate all the screws because it rattled. Then, in it's second summer of operation I notice that it was barely collecting water, even during very wet periods of flooding. You know what they say, you get what you pay for and this thing was a cheap piece of junk.

  Purchased to remove humidity in our bathroom. Helps quite a bit. It is small and sits on a shelf in out bathroom and is hard to believe how much humidity it removes from the air. It took a few days to get used to the sound it makes, we thought the toilet was running, very quiet, don't even notice it now.
