I returned this air filter because it uses an ionizing process, which I learned causes ozone. I was fearful that would cause more trouble than the dog hair in the room!!

So happy with the purchase of the Hepa filter. It clears the rooms and can be carried easily to other rooms to freshen the air.

On low this hepa filter is quiet and non intrusive, on medium it is noisy and high it is extremely loud. The air it blows is COLD while filtering the air in the environment. The design is good, the tower works well. Overally, compared to the early Honeywell Hepa filters this is an improvement. But i am disappointed as I was early on in the first designs. The noise factor is great on any level but low. The COLD air is prominent that it blows back out in its cleansing the air . 3 stars

Bought this air filter for the dander our umbrella cockatoo puts off every day. My DR table was covered in feathers and a powdery film was on everything. Since we got the Hepa Air Filter which we have besides his cage, what a drastic change in the room. It collects all the dander and fine down and keeps the room much clleaner and so much easier to breath in. . Thank you.

I put this in my babies room, and it has enabled my baby to breathe so he can sleep at night. He no longer has congestion the runny nose that use to continually wake him up. As I read in another review, the blue light it has when it is on is quite bright, but we just take a baby sock and put it over the light and it is fine. It does have 3 settings and the higher you go the louder it gets, but we love the "white noise". It is soothing and was another reason I wanted the air purifier. It has made a huge difference in how he feels. I have recommended this product to several people. It is a TRUE HEPA filter and not just a "HEPA like" filter and you don't have to keep buying expensive replacement filters for this one because it has a filter you can just clean at home. It is well worth the money!

This air purifier has a permanent HEPA filter that should last years brfore needing replacement. This feature was instrumental in our selection making this an excellent value considering the price of replacement HEPA filters. The motor is quiet on low and medium speeds and not excessively loud on high speed. Our room feels and smells clean of any contaminants or odors found in the home. The ionization feature of this machine helps to "scrub" the air. I would not hesitate to recomment this unit to others.

Product works well, I noticed a difference after a few hours. After a few weeks, it has continued to make a difference in terms of the amount of dust around, and I breathe better. It is very loud on the highest setting, but the lowest and middle settings are no worse than a regular fan. Note that it includes a "HEPA-Type" filter, not a true HEPA filter.

I use this air purifier for our elderly parent who has COPD, seeing them in their worst condition breaks my heart. But with the use of air purifier in our home, it works wonder. Our parent is breathing normally and coughing is not that often. I got a regular HEPA filter and that didn't work so well, but this all in one air purifier really worked out well for them.

Was a little concerned about fan noise at first, but now we don't even notice it as we have had it running 24/7. I believe an add-on to the item might be additional HEPA filters available for purpose. It is an excellent filter, so and we are pleased with it.

product arrived earlier than overstock's committed date. product arrived in perfect condition. product does what it claims. there are higher performing hepa filters on the market; but if you're concerned about the unit taking up space (this one is wall mountable) and overall appearance along with performance, this is the best one out there. downsides: it comes with a higher pricetag. we purchased this for our infant's bedroom -- he was showing mild signs of allergies to either dust or dander. this hepa filter filters out both. he's coughing much less and hasn't had an attack since use of the rabbit air. the caviat; we also removed carpet from his room at the same time.

I purchased this air purifier to help with litterbox odor/dust in our small apartment. We've been using the purifier for a few weeks now and I've definitely noticed that the air seems cleaner. I used to come home and notice the litterbox smell as soon as I walked in the door, but since using the purifier there doesn't seem to be any strong odors. I specifically purchased this purifier because of the permanent filters, since replacement filters on other purifiers are so expensive! I haven't had to clean them yet, but they seem pretty easy to access and wash (pre-filter) or vacuum (HEPA filter). I didn't give an "excellent" rating because purifier is fairly loud on medium or high settings. Luckily it's pretty quiet on the low setting, which we generally leave it on.

I bought this for my new little granddaughter and she loves it....so do her parents. They love that it gives her some white noice to aid in her sleeping through the night as well as very efficient. and a genuine HEPA filter. They have both said it is the best air purifier they have ever used. It is a great value in every way from Overstock.

I have asthma and this unit is good but not the best. Fair for the price. This is "like hepa" not true hepa filter so be aware.. I have been using it nonstop for almost 3 months now and I think is an ok product... the air does feel better but there is still that heaviness in the air if you know what I mean... I do not cough as much anymore. It is loud in the highest setting which is the one I need... I kinda like the sound though (not when I watch TV).. if you are a light sleeper this will keep you up all night.. it is not that bad in lower settings.. overall is an ok product for the price. I might use it in another room in the house and buy a more powreful unit for my bedroom.

My allergist recommended I change quite a few things about my bedroom -- allergen-proof cases for the mattress and pillows, HEPA filter/air purifier, take away the curtains, dust and vacuum religiously, keep the cat away from the bedroom, etc. This is the HEPA filter/purifier I chose and so far, I'm very happy with it. It has a nice noise for white sound, which helps sleep, and it seems to be doing the job with allergens in the air, since I am not waking up so allergic. Only downside: It has a blue light on the top that is kind of bright for a darkened bedroom when you're trying to sleep. We put a post-it note over the blue light at night, just stuck on one side so you can still adjust the fan speed but it covers the light, and that worked pretty well. There's still enough light for a nightlight, but at least it's not like a huge blue ambulance light in the bedroom with us.

I've been running this for about a month now. I run it on low 24/7 and on high when I'm cleaning and stirring up dust. It does seem to be helping to cut down on airborne dust. The other day I took the prefilter and HEPA filters outside and knocked a lot of dust off them, so I know it's working.

I've had my Honeywell Enviracaire Air Purifier for almost three weeks. So far it's doing a great job cleaning the air. There are lots of smokers on my floor. Since the building has thin walls, the smell of smoke is consistent on certain days. If I turn this air purifier on high and close the door, the smell of the smoke is gone within an hour. I mainly use it in my living room, but lately have had to move it to the bedroom as well. My only complaint is that it is very loud on high. You get nice white noise on the low setting. The blue light is very bright if you're trying to sleep. An ear plugs and eye mask can solve those issues. I love the circular design since it evenly releases fresh air from all sides. It was easy to put the carbon filter on the HEPA filter. I'll seriously consider either getting the same one for my bedroom or a smaller one. This has been a very good investment for me.

This is a fantastic product. I have pets and it causes my allergy and asthma but of course, I can't get rid these furry members of the family. I am taking prescription meds and even vac our home that has HEPA filter and it even says it's "Asthma and Allergy friendly" still it's no use. We have a whole-house Honeywell electrostatic air filtration system that is cleaned monthly. Still allergy problems. Then we bought this product and put it in my room and I feel a lot more comfortable with it on. We set this air purifier turned on 24/7. We have no problem with its sound as it's fairly quite on normal setting. We are planning to buy another Mammoth 1000x for the whole house. I highly recommend this product!

I ordered this air purifier for my bedroom because I have many allergies. The first night when I walked into my closed bedroom, it smelled like the first day of spring. Since then, every night smells like spring. It didn't take long for the purifier to warn me it needed cleaning. It sounded like a bug zapper on steroids. It was easy to clean, and was again silent afterward. The only thing I would change is how bright the light is on the top of the control panel to indicate speed of operation. It was like a bluish nightlight shining on the ceiling. A little piece of tape over the speed I like best (medium) was all it took to "fix" that. Definitely worth the price, and I won't have to replace expensive hepa filters every few months. Love the spring-like smell in my room.
