Just arrived today a week after ordering and it is perfect! Thick wood adds the apperance of strong quality and workmenship. Great value for the $$

They don't mention it in the description, but you can see that the top is different than just wood. It's two pieces of frosted glass. I think that it adds to the piece. Of course, you have to be careful with the glass. I wouldn't know how to replace one if it broke. I would buy this piece again.

I have been looking for something to match my dining table . This was the closest match. It came already assembled, just had to add shelf and glass. The color is a darker than the picture and didnt know the glass on top was frosted. The shelf had a small chip but not seen when inserted. It really sets off my dining room. Real happy with my purchase.

This is very versatile and looks great with a mixture of styles because of its clean lines and color. Very, very, heavy though. Delivered on a wooden palette and takes longer to get out of box than anything else! We drilled a hole in the middle of the back openings so we could put a cd player on the shelf and have the cord not show. Very nice.

This server is even more beautiful than in the picture. there is no grainyn-ness in the wood texture. heavy solid wood. contemporary. the only concern is that the back of the server was damaged. eeeek! perfect otherwise. i am more than optimistic that the damaged issue will be resolved.

The piece looks fine but the description says a shelf in every compartment behind the door. The only shelf is in the open middle section.
