I am extemely happy with this set. I really wanted a nice set of solid maple and this exceeds my expectations. I had a hard time finding out what kind of wood it is, but after a few inquiries I found out it is rubberwood. It is a hard wood that is fairly light in color and resembles maple. It is extremely sturdy and heavy. You can feel the quality. The drawers are dove tailed which really adds to the quality. The bed took 10 minutes to put together and the nightstands are preassembled. I am so glad I bought this set (I also purchased the matching dressers). It looks really nice and the design is simple.

I was very happy when this bedroom set was delivered. I bought this for my young son's room in the hope that it will last through adolescence. He loves his new big-boy bed and it looks great in his room. Few things to note: Delivery was surprisingly fast, it was delivered within a week of placing the order. The color is NOT accurately pictured...it is darker than the picture depicts...more of a HONEY tone to the wood. It is however, very beautifully made and a great buy for the price. The bed does NOT need a frame, and comes with 3 slats with stabilizers. We added three other slats of our own to make sure the bed is sturdy enough to make it through the rough and tumble antics of a 7 year old. All in all this is a great value and a beautiful bedroom set.

Bed/nightstands were delievered as described. Well packaged to ensure no damage. Color as pictured. One of our pieces is a bit darker grain of wood, but all in all a great bedroom set. If we had the room I would order the dresser.

This bed is absolutely lovely and very well constructed. The nightstands are an added bonus - lots of room in the drawers and look great too. I bought the matching dresser and I am very pleased with it too.

Bed was darker than the picture. This was disappointing to me. The bed is still cute and of nice quality. I do wish the color was the same as the picture. I am not returning since I still like the bed and there are no other color choices for this style. I think the picture should be updated to truely reflect the color of the wood, otherwise I would give a 5 star rating.

I am awfully glad I made this purchase. This furniture is solid and substantial.

This was a great purchase decision! The bed and nightstands arrived in a matter of days and in excellent condition. The quality was better than I expected and it looks wonderful in our new bedroom!

I had been looking for a great bedroom set at a reasonable price,I am proud to say that I found it on Overstock.The workmanship on the bedroom set is awesome!!!!! and I love that the wood is not flimsy and cheap looking.The nightsatnds that came with the bed are even better than I expected.I had been hearing about overstock for a long time but had never purchased anything from them ,but after being satisified with my first purchase I am now waiting on my new Digital camera I ordered.

This product far exceeded my expectations! The set is beautiful and the material, solid wood, is high quality. I was looking for a cheap guest bedroom set before the holidays. This set is much better than any set I saw in the stores and was about half what I would have paid for wood composites. I am very pleased with my purchase.
