I bought this after I got tired repairing my plastic mill. I've dropped it a couple of times and it's still working. Have to admit it looks nicer than the plastic one as well.

Pepper mill showed up slightly damaged (a couple of scratches) and was missing the fastener to hold it together. The box wasn't even closed when I received it. Was cheaper to fix it than to send it back. Wound up using a die to re-cut the threads on the end to accept a common wing nut. The mill holds a lot of pepper corns and it does create consistent grinds.
