TERRIBLE TO ASSEMBLE! Some of the wood is warped and the person who drilled the holes did a terrible job. There are also a few nicks in the wood. Overall, this product is not worth what I paid and I am disappointed with it. I was so excited to get this, especially after reading the reviews.

Make sure you have a cocktail waiting after it built YOU WILL NEED IT!!! The directions were not very clear and the wood was warped, Thank God it came with extra screws I just ended up screwing extra screws all over the place and then took wood clue, hot glue and if I had duck tape, I would have used that to. I now have a migraine, But over stock did get it to me very fast.

I opened the box and the instructions were so vague and the parts were all not labeled. The first turn of a screw the screw snapped and the wood broke. I have to return it and hope i get my money back. I was SO UNHAPPY with this purchase im hesitant about buying anything else from this site now.

Boards where chipped and scratched and assembly required a large space. When all was assembled there was definate weakness in some shelves

Actually my words were quite a bit harsher than that. I was looking for modern looking shelving as a place to store our DVDs. This looked ideal on the website, and even though I really didn't want to spend over $100, I thought I might have found something spiffy. It had a decent rating, why not? Apparently, I need to learn to be more skeptical. It was a bit smaller than I had anticipated. I knew it was going to be short and I know that images online tend to make things look bigger than they really are, that is the case here. I was worried that my DVDs wouldn't fit on the shelves, but they fit rather snugly, thankfully! The vaneer isn't bad look at all, it was actually one of the nicer things. But the instructions... OH $DIETY THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! I have never had to interpret worse instructions in my life. Firstly, there are a ton of pieces and they only decided to label one of each type, so I ended up having to waste time sorting. They totally left out a screw type (they only showed 3 in the instructions but really there's 4, which would've been nice to know ahead of time). There really aren't any written instructions and you're just left to interpret through diagrams only, which, really is highly inconvenient when you've gone through the trouble of putting glue on the dowels, screwing in the screws only to get to the last piece and find out it doesn't fit because nowhere does it mention that the spacing of the holes in the wood are not equidistant to each other- leading to taking it all apart once more to find out just how the holes are supposed to line up. My husband thought, initially, that I was crazy or merely one of those "Women who can't follow directions" until I showed them how the diagrams went from Step 5 to Step 7 and Step 6 was no where to be found. Even he got disgusted with it and ended up going to bed after fiddling with it until 3:00 am. So yeah, definitely the worst building experience I've ever had. This shelf will work provided you lay aboslutely everything out beforehand, and forget their glue, go buy some Gorilla Glue, but in my opinion it's really not worth the hassle, nor the price. Heck, I doubt it's even worth half of what it cost.

This storage rack looks good, but you better have saintly patience. I've put together a fair amount of "assemble yourself" items in my day and seen some bad instructions, but these are by far the worst. It was one sheet on one side and most of the detail about which nails/screws/dowels to use was so small you couldn't tell the difference between them on the sheet. Just for additional fun, the included glue for the dowel holes had leaked and since all the screws, nails, and dowels are all together in one bag, a large bunch of them were stuck together in a big blob of dried glue. The one positive here is that they did include a bunch of extra screws, etc. I would strongly suggest you DO NOT use the glue anyway as the shelves on the two side units must line up a certain way, but the screw holes aren't offset enough to make it obvious so you'll most likely have to unscrew them and flip them around. Also, there are a lot of shelves and only one of each type is labeled so you can can sing, "One of these things is not like the other..." as you try to put it together. Once you get it together though it looks nice except they didn't include any of the stickers that are similar to the wood in color so you can cover up the pre-drilled holes. They are so deeply set that you can see them pretty easily. If you do get one, good luck! You'll need it.

Love the dark brown color, matches my other bookshelf perfectly. The adjustable rack is very useful , I could put it almost anywhere. it's actually pretty easy to put together(for how many panels it has), overall, I'm very happy with this product.

This is exactly what I need!! I love the adjustable function, it can fit in anywhere in my house, I even try to put it at the corner and it still looks great . make the useless space looks nicer. the assembly was actually kind of easy, overall there are only few different sizes,although they look a lot, just sort it, that's what I do, love the finished product!!

I had seen this piece in a local furniture store that went out of business and had been looking for it for a while. I was thrilled to find it online at Overstock and ordered it right away. It holds most of my DVD and CD ,also fits nicely into an area in my family room. It is well made ,The dark brown color is perfect for my family room.

My sister-in-law and I ordered this for our parents as a gift to help organize their collection of ever growing DVD's. My sister-n-law had already purchased several for her media room and was very pleased with them. I agreee with her that this product is an excellent choice, easy to put together, and reasonably priced. My father is usually put off by spending $ for anything unneccessary and will make you return things. He had it almost all put together before we could get to their house, and didn't complain at all about the unit- which is a big compliment in itself!! Also, we had it delivered to a different address- which went very well, and the UPS gentleman helped to bring it in for my parents- a big plus!"

This DVD rack is great next to new flat screen TV. Dark brown looks nice. Shelves are meant for CDs and DVDs, and can be adjusted to fit wherever i like. Overall, it is a nice piece."

I have a limited space in my apartment, and this rack fit into my living room nicely. Adjustable function is very useful. I set this rack toward the corner as L shape and it looks great.

This rack is very small and not worth the money. Poor instructions and parts missing labels.

The assembly was quite easy, basically there's only few different parts, I am very happy with the modern looking of this DVD rack, I used it at a corner, you can put this adjustable DVD anywhere, love the function and appearance. can't beat the price,too.

I like the unique look of this rack very much. It holds 15DVDs/unit on left and right shelf, total 150 DVDs.For bridge parts, height is a bit shorter and only fit in CDs, which I decided to decorate pictures and candles. Although It took me and my husband for a while to assemble, It is a functional rack, and looks nice. Thanks!

As some people mentioned it before, sorting is the key to assemble this rack without having a mess. Mine come with 3 pages installation manual, which seems like they added on after seeing difficulty in assembly. On some boards, a few holes are off from the middle, which is the way supposed to be. This is a tricky parts. You need to make sure you place them in right direction, or you are going to face a mess later.Rack itself is a nice looking rack, holds lots of DVD, CD. It's sturdy and fit in my place perfectly as well. Over all, I like it very much.

I was little worried when i see other reviews,seems like people are having difficulty to put it together,but after i got it,I do not have any problems of installing this DVD rack, seems like they have added a new install manual for it. It was pretty easy to put it together. it's bigger than i thought, and the adjustable function is perfect to fit wherever you want , l like the color,too(very dark brown).overall, very happy with this DVD rack.

We have purchased things from Overstock that are truly wonderful bargains, this, however, is not particularly one of them. I'm not saying we sent it back, we have it up and we do like the look of it, however, it was quite an undertaking putting it together, the instructions were a bit uninformative, several of the pieces split when screwed together and it needs some sort of screw end-cap (which I'm sure we can find at the hardware store). It's okay.

I just put this together by myself and really like the completed product. I agree with some of the previous posts regarding chips/scratches in the wood, although these are not in any area that was visible and certainly not worth returning it over. Not all pieces are marked, so you have to make sure to sort them out before starting. There are a mulititued of wood pieces for this and only one of each type was marked. Making sure you get the right ones together will make this an easier assembly. The hardwared consisted of only a few different pieces, so not too hard to seperate and figure out what went to what. The directions are minimal, only one page and unless you have put furniture together before you may be a bit lost and find this extremely difficult to put together. This goes together in a total of four parts, so if you set your area up ahead of time it will go much quicker and easier. The finished product is sturdy, perfect for the area that I wanted it for and holds my DVDs well. The center boxes (adjustable ones) are too short for DVDs, so would be best used for CD's, although I just put a few candles/picutres, etc to fill the spaces. I like the darker wood, it goes great with the rest of my furniture. Overall, it is a nice piece.
