This is an awesome chair! It arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. There were slight imperfections in the chrome arms, but I am picky so it may not be noticable to the average viewer. Chair is fully adjustable and comfortable.I am not sure why some reviewers say that this chair just sits forward, but there is a tension knob that allows the chair to recline and rock a bit. I did take a previous reviewers suggestion and conditioned the chair with leather conditoner which brought out the chair's luster.I recently saw a licensed reproduction of this chair at an upscale furniture store and I can honestly say that this is the closest replica of that chair, the differences can only be detected by a discriminating viewer. Do your research on the web. There are quite a few knock offs of this chair but usually the mechanicals are unsightly and the surfaces are leatherette. The mechanicals on this chair fit seamlessly in concert with the designers original vision but with the modern convenience of a hydraulic lift .You will not find a better replica for the price. Now to find the perfect desk to go with it!!

I'm always impressed with the efficiency of Overstock shipping. This chair arrived within 3 days. The packing was a bit sloppy. No packing to speak of but fortunately, everything was in good shape. Extremely easy to assemble. I used a rubber mallet to make sure the wheels were securely attached but probably not necessary. I've used the chair for 2 days so far and am very pleased with the construction and comfort. The chair does force you into an upright position but it's comfortable for computer work. If you like to lean back, this chair does not allow it. The over all construction appears better than average. The wheels glide easily and the chair feels solid. I will try it out for a few more weeks and order another one.

Aside from the difficulty in trying to set it to the right height, the chair itself is very attractive and it will look like a real eames to the uneducated eye.

The chair was easy to put together. It came with simple instructions and only took minutes to assemble. The quality of the workmanship could be better. The arm rests were slightly scratched. Overall, a great find!

The only problem I have with this chair is the way the support is lined up with the seat of the chair. It is designed so that you are permanently leaning forward. The chair looks great, but I think my $60 desk chair may have been more comfortable.... but it looked really bad and all the wheels fell off. This one is made well other than that, and obviously, it looks a lot like the Eames chair.... but I have sat in the Eames chair, and it was much more comfortable. But, since I don't want to spend $2,000 on a desk chair, this one will do just fine.

I love this chair. My friend works at Herman Miller and saw this chair says it looks exactly like the Herman Miller chair except that it's better because the seat can adjust. I recommend putting leather conditioner on it so it really brings out the leather.

This is an excellent chair for the price. Well constructed and good looking, would wish only for one with lumbar support (but one can't have everything.)
