Adjustable Height Swivel Stool

This chair was easy to assemble but it did not adjust for me. I have a very high bar counter top and both stools only came about half way. The stem part of the stool is supposed to go up and down (gas chamber) and it only stayed in one position. I am VERY dissapointed in this stool and can not use it. The most dissapointing part, was that I could not write into the manufacturer nor knew who the manufacturer was b/c nothing came with the packaging. Since returning it to Overstock would of been a huge hassle, I had to sell it to someone who had a smaller counter. I waisted a lot of time and money on this product and only recommend it to someone who DOES NOT want an adjustable stool.

We were looking for some adjustable height barstools for our kitchen counter that also doubles as our dining room table. So they had to be comfortable. And these totally fit the bill. They look great, feel sturdy, and are totally comfortable. Plus they were easy to put together ... they only take a few minutes each and require no tools. Could not be happier!

Very easy to assemble and they look great. I get a lot of compliments. It's nice that they are adjustable so they can be used as normal seats, if needed. I shopped around quite a bit, and I am very happy with my purchase. Tough to find better quality for the price...

I bought 3 of these, arrived sooner than I expected which was great. Assembly was pretty easy, despite popular belief they do mention to remove the gas hydralic cap before putting it together but it is easy to forget to do so since most people don't read the directions closely or carefully.Barstools look great, the chrome finish although a fingerprint magnet has a mirror finish and really stand out. My remodeled kitchen looks awesome with these stools sittin pretty. Overall a nice chair for the price.I'd give it 5 stars except the part the seat bolts onto is generic in design, i.e. not modeled to fit the chair part exactly. So if you don't align it just right you may have some problems with 1 of the 4 screws as it may not screw completely flush to the bottom of the seat.The round base is nice however and comes with a smooth vinly o ring that won't scratch your floor. I was worried if it would come with something like this or not.The high back is nice and not present on a lot of the adjustable barstools here. Definitely worth the price once you actually see it and sit in it.

I looked everywhere for new stools for our kitchen counter. They had to be at least 30" in seat height and the top of the chair had to measure approx. 44" high to show over the counter. We were pleasantly pleased with our selection. We ordered the cream color as it matches the color of the chairs at our kitchen table.The stools are sleek and modern. The only thing I would change for our hardwood floors is the rubber floor protector on the bottom of the base... if there was a material similar to the pads we put on the bottoms of all our other furniture (like mohair) , we would have a much easier time sliding the chairs in and out under the counter...the rubber sticks and the chair has to be lifted into position.Overall comfort, fit and looks make this a good buy.
