Don't Forget tTo Remove The Cap

I bought three of these stools for my kitchen counter and they look fabulous! I absolutely LOVE them. They are sturdy, bright white (as opposed to some others that are a bit ivory-toned), chrome is shiny, and really quite comfortable. The packages arrived safely and very quickly too! They were fairly easy to put together however, please note: the instructions were just "diagrams" of the parts. No where in the diagrams did it say to REMOVE THE BLACK CAP FROM THE HYDRAULIC LIFT PIECE. It was hilarious, seeing me put these together and my frustrations of not knowing why the hydraulc lifts weren't working.....so basically, learn from my mistake.....don't forget to REMOVE the black cap piece and you will love these!!

They are very confrtable and the color was as I expected I am very happy with my choice of barstool . A great thing is that they can also be used as a regular chair for the dinning table because of the hight . They are great!

Awesome choice! This bar stool is super cute and very easy to put together. The finish is glossy all round. Easy to clean. These stools are a perfect addition to our new, modern kitchen. They are the perfect height for our island ,also the fact that the heigh is adjustable (THAT IS A PLUS+++++)The stool is not that great for heavy people.

Good for the price

I was a little concerned about buying this without seeing any reviews on Overstock. I decided to buy one - see if I like it and if so buy some more. Well, the good news is for the price you can't beat it. The overall appearance (especially from a distance or with some good lighting) is great. Up close the leather looks kinda cheap and is a bit hard but I think it will hold up. Mine didn't come with any directions, you just need to screw in four bolts that require an allen wrench - and the allen wrench isn't included. Its actually allot more comfortable then it looks in the photo, in fact its better looking then it is in the photo. I happen to be sitting on it right now and I just ordered several more. For the price it really cannot be beat - I don't think you'll get a better stool for less then twice the price.

Nice stools!

I purchased one of these stools in the cream color for my kitchen island, as a trial, about a month ago. it's really comfortable, the back is formed and angled just right, and the foot rest moves with the chair when you swivel in it. It seems to be sturdy and well built. I did expect a more "leather" look to the stool, but it really is ok. The only down-side to the stool is that it seems to collect dust and cat hair on the base, and when the sun shines on the chrome base of the stool between vacuumings, it can look messy. But if the sun isn't shining directly on it, it isn't even noticeable. My husband was not a real fan of the stool when it arrived because it was chrome and not wood, but every time he's sitting at the counter, he's on this stool.

Got exactly what we thought we were going to get

We are more than happy, these are very attractive stools, we got three and they fit perfectly into the two different places we had set aside for them. They are high quality furniture, beautifully packaged to protect the contents and very easy to assemble. Email notifications were immediate and very clear, delivery was on time.

Sleek and comfortable

We bought 5 chairs to use at our peninsula, very modern looking and sleek. They are comfortable and easy to put together. The mechanism to lower and raise the chairs is very smooth. Would definately recommend them.

How accurate was the on site description of the product? Need to add the dimensions of the base, which is large and you may not be able to fit as many chairs based on that.

Positive Review

Since this was the first time we have owned counter bar stools we did not want to spend a lot of money. These stools (so far) have withstood the daily test of 2 kids (mostly spinning). Love being able to raise/lower to different heights. My only complaints are the shiny base shows everything from dust to pet hair to crumbs and must be dusted regularly, and that you nave to be careful when you move them - if you lift on the seat it comes off the base. Otherwise, very happy!
