I bought three of these stools for my kitchen counter and they look fabulous! I absolutely LOVE them. They are sturdy, bright white (as opposed to some others that are a bit ivory-toned), chrome is shiny, and really quite comfortable. The packages arrived safely and very quickly too! They were fairly easy to put together however, please note: the instructions were just "diagrams" of the parts. No where in the diagrams did it say to REMOVE THE BLACK CAP FROM THE HYDRAULIC LIFT PIECE. It was hilarious, seeing me put these together and my frustrations of not knowing why the hydraulc lifts weren't working.....so basically, learn from my mistake.....don't forget to REMOVE the black cap piece and you will love these!!

They are very confrtable and the color was as I expected I am very happy with my choice of barstool . A great thing is that they can also be used as a regular chair for the dinning table because of the hight . They are great!

Awesome choice! This bar stool is super cute and very easy to put together. The finish is glossy all round. Easy to clean. These stools are a perfect addition to our new, modern kitchen. They are the perfect height for our island ,also the fact that the heigh is adjustable (THAT IS A PLUS+++++)The stool is not that great for heavy people.

I purchased one of these stools in the cream color for my kitchen island, as a trial, about a month ago. it's really comfortable, the back is formed and angled just right, and the foot rest moves with the chair when you swivel in it. It seems to be sturdy and well built. I did expect a more "leather" look to the stool, but it really is ok. The only down-side to the stool is that it seems to collect dust and cat hair on the base, and when the sun shines on the chrome base of the stool between vacuumings, it can look messy. But if the sun isn't shining directly on it, it isn't even noticeable. My husband was not a real fan of the stool when it arrived because it was chrome and not wood, but every time he's sitting at the counter, he's on this stool.

I bought four of these stools in brown. The color was true to the color shown on the site. Assembly was easy. The stool base is sturdy and well constructed. Hydraulic adjustment works great. The seat is surprisingly comfortable. The best part is they wipe clean and do not have any seams or crevices that will hold crumbs. Very important since they are in my kitchen.

I bought these to go in my modern kitchen with bisque cabinets. The cream color is just great. The stools were easy to assemble. I too, wondered why the hydraulic adjustment wasn't working, until I checked back here and was reminded that the black cap needs to be removed. The stools are quite stable yet light enough to move easily for cleaning the floor. The seat is stiff and won't be comfortable for hours of sitting. However, they've worked out fine for meals and parties.

These stools are comfortable, beautiful and versatile. The were not difficult to assemble and they price was right! My husband has a back problem. These chairs provide great back support, but are not big or bulky. The lines are clean, the design is contemporary without being too modern. The color (we bought off white) is neutral. The fact that the seat height adjusts easily means that we can use them at the bar, counter or table in our kitchen.

I was a little concerned about buying this without seeing any reviews on Overstock. I decided to buy one - see if I like it and if so buy some more. Well, the good news is for the price you can't beat it. The overall appearance (especially from a distance or with some good lighting) is great. Up close the leather looks kinda cheap and is a bit hard but I think it will hold up. Mine didn't come with any directions, you just need to screw in four bolts that require an allen wrench - and the allen wrench isn't included. Its actually allot more comfortable then it looks in the photo, in fact its better looking then it is in the photo. I happen to be sitting on it right now and I just ordered several more. For the price it really cannot be beat - I don't think you'll get a better stool for less then twice the price.

Three of these bar stools in dark brown were our Christmas gift to our daughter and son-in-law. They were very pleased with both the quality of the stools and the way they fit in with their decor. The stools are modern-looking without being too futuristic. At a party filled with kids of all ages, the stools withstood hundreds of requests to go higher then lower, as well as handling being hurled by a grandson having a temper tantrum. We needed something rugged, and they really filled the bill in a very attractive fashion.

I hesitantly purchased these stools, as I was initially looking for leather seating, and figured if the material felt "cheap" or synthetic I would just return them. Luckily - no need to do so! The seats are oh so comfortable and actually feel like leather; but are much easier to clean. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought two of these because it says in the description they lower to 20 inches seat height. These stools are explicitly marketed to double 'even as dining chairs' (see description). This information in wrong. The chairs only lower to 22 inches and are incompatible for usage as dining chairs. Everything else about them is good. They really assemble fast and easy, are sturdy and look great. I recommend them as counter and barstools, and am only disappointed that they are falsely marketed as possible dining chairs.

Purchased this to use in my dining room, did not care for the look once I received but it looks great in my art studio at my work station. The hydraulics works great when needed... easy to clean which is a BIG plus in a studio. Contoured back is great when working at the computer.

After reading the reviews, I was excited that the product rated so well, yet a bit concerned about the shipping. I was pleasantly surprised when not only did my package arrive in less than 5 business days, the boxes were intact and the barstools were wrapped well to prevent damage. They were easy to assemble (it took me less than 10 minutes for each) and of good quality. The only gripe I have is the color I ordered (cappucino) was a bit dull in comparison to the other colors which seem to have a nice sheen. Regardless, I plan to order one more for my breakfast bar.

These stools are amazing, the chocolate color is the same as pictured, They are very comfortable and not too heavy to move around. Only complaint is that the base needs to be wiped off everyday, but I have lots of hair in my house, so it may not be a problem if you do't have dogs and cats. Love these for extra dining chairs, as they adjust to table height. I also use one as an office chair. Sleek and modern, thanks Overstock.com, you've done again!

These stools are attractively designed . The back of the chair supports the small of the back and is very comfortable and supportive. Can be easily adjusted according to the desired height, and I highly recommend this product.

These bar stools are very easy to assemble, look great and the foot rest part is great so your legs don't just dangle! Not the softest, but comfortable with good back support so you can sit there a while without a problem.

These stools looked nice online but once we received and assembled them, one was very crooked. Another one stopped swiveling within a week and makes a loud creaking sound as soon as anyone gets up from sitting in it.

These stools couldn't be any more perfect. They are the exact look I wanted. Clean lines modern. They look really sharp against the espresso color of my curved island. Not only are the looks fantastic, but they are also very comfortable. The curve in the back allows you to sit back and relax with good back support without getting a sore bottom. The seat surface looks beutiful and more high end with the stitching, but it also makes it very easy to clean. All you need is a damp cloth and your set! I have a 7 and 8 year old and the chairs are standing up to them too. So far they are passing the lets spin around 100 times test, the lets bang them against the counter test, the oops I jumped down to fast and it didn't topple over test,. Need I say more! Simply, they are fabulous and surviving my kids while being a great price. I absolutely love them!!

very easy to assemble. purchased after long search for something that would hold up to 250 lb husband and squirmy grandkids. think this will work but have not been in use enough to tell. so far the husband has been able to sit in and use the adjustable height feature - perfect for both adults and kids.
