It took me less than five minutes to put together and have on the bed. I laid on it and it is very comfortable. I think it is great that I can take the cover off and wash it. This was bought for a three year old and that will come in handy. I've seen twin beds around here for $98 to $125, but I chose this one because of the cheap delivery charge and the bed just looked comfy. All in all a good buy. The price of the product was too good to be true. I had to admit that I bought it because of the price more than anything else. My friend recommended to me of your web site. The description of the product was exactly what I was looking for. When I received the product, it was not what I thought it would be, for one thing, I was looking for "firm" mattress, and the second was the depth of the mattress supposed to be 8" but when I measured it, it was only 6". Needless to say, the whold experience was very disppointing. The best thing was that it was very easy to assemble. But also because of that reason, it also causes the gaps between each coil when you put all three together into mattress cover. This also create a sinking spot when lying down.

I'm really pleased with this ingenious mattress & its price. It's PERFECT for the way I'm using it: on a platform, as a daybed to lounge on, or for the occasional overnight guest. I like that it's low-profile and very light weight, much lighter than a traditional mattress, and it was simple to put together. But note that the mattress instructions say that this should be used ONLY on a solid platform, or on closely spaced slats. That's because the springs are actually in 3 separate cloth-covered sections, that you zip up inside the mattress cover, which is padded on top. The cover holds the spring sections together provided you have solid support beneath. If you don't, I think the spring sections might separate or slip through. As I said, just perfect for uses like mine, but be aware of the difference between this product & a traditional mattress.

I bought this for my 3 year old. The easy thing about this mattress is you don't have to schedule a delivery time since UPS just drops it off. As others have said, it comes in a small box and the packaging looks scary to cut since you don't want to cut the mattress itself. But unpacking turned out to be really easy, and set up took less than 5 minutes once the package was open. It is quite comfortable even for an adult. I don't expect it would last very long if an adult slept on it regularly, but for my 3 year old, I expect it'll be good for years. The price is right and shipping doesn't add another $60 as it would for a traditional mattress.

good value, interesting concept. easy to put together but feel that the outer cover or casing is a little bit larger than the coil centers. I paired this with a 2" memory foam topper to make an excellent, excellent sleeping surface. Very comfortable.

When I purchased our daybed (from Overstock), I figured I'd get a mattress to go with it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as the daybed would mostly be used as a couch and rarely as a bed, so when I saw the Adjust-a coil at half the price of a regular mattress I decided to buy it. I was not expecting a great mattress or even a comfortable one (I thought perhaps I'd get a memory foam topper if it was really uncomfortable). Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package! It came in 3 pieces, which you insert into the full, zippered, quilted foam cover (like a pillowcase). One person can easily do this! It is surprisingly comfortable. I did put a typical quilted mattress cover on it, but there was no need for an additional foam topper. It is both comfortable to sit on and very comfortable to sleep on. Really terrific product!

What i like most about this mattress is the cover comes off to wash, if you have a child that wets the bed. A+++++++++

Bought this for our grandson. My son-in-law says it is so comfortable he would sleep on it (and sometimes does fall asleep while putting the little guy down!!!).

Weird packaging for sure but once it expanded, it was the standard twin size. My son likes it and it feels comfortable. I do not know how it will hold up though. We shall see.

I read many positive reviews about this mattress so I bought it for a guest bedroom. It arrived quickly and was easily put together. My concerns are that it does not feel like a regular mattress which it is not and that it may accommodate a light person but not a heavier person. The positive things were it's price and ease of delivery. It appears well made and sufficient for a guest room if the guest is a child or a small adult.

SOMETIMES WE GET SO USED TO THE NORM WE DON'T TRY NEW STUFF. THIS MATTRESS WAS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE FOUND. THEY COME IN A SQUARE BOX & YOU PUT THE SPRINGS INSIDE THEN THE FOAM TOPPER -ZIP & DONE. ISN'T THAT A MATTRESS ANYWAY? SO GREAT IF YOU LIVE UPSTAIRS OR NEED TO TRAVEL WITH IT, OH CAMPING! OR TIGHT SPACES. THEY ARE FIRM & COMFY FOR ADULTS OR KIDS. I WOULD THINK GOOD FOR BUNKBEDS TOO! HOPE THIS ALL HELPS :)

Bought this mattress for my granddaughter. What a surprise! Found it on the porch when I got home, in a box <3 ft. high. Opened it to find a cover and three squashed down mini-mattresses. Prayed it worked as I could never get it back in that box!! Worked fine. You slip the mini-mattresses into the cover, and when the middle gets saggy, you can switch out the cushions. Also be able to wash the cover. What could be better?

For the price, it's a good buy. That said, don't expect a premium mattress! I bought it for my (almost) 5 year old because he needed one badly (has been sleeping on foam), and we're on a budget. This mattress will certainly do the trick as far as he is concerned, and being able to wash the cover could be a plus. BUT the coils don't seem particularly durable, so I'm suspecting that within just a few years I'll have to spring (HA!) for a more traditional mattress when we're in a better position to afford one. Still and all, you get what you pay for, so I wasn't really expecting much more for the price. Perhaps, as one reviewer mentioned, pairing it with a memory foam topper would add to the comfort of this mattress--but then you might just want to spend the money and get a better quality mattress to start with!

I just needed mattresses for my 3 yo twins that were affordable. Everything else that I was considering wasn't in stock. They were easy to assemble and are perfectly comfortable for a child. I did put a pillow top mattress cover on them. The twins love their new beds. I would not recommend these for anyone over 11.

I purchased a captains bed with a trundle and wanted mattresses that were not expensive but comfortable.for my 2 and 4 yr old grandkids. A snap to put together. It took me longer to open the boxes.

Great mattress, affordable price. It's very comfortable. There are three pieces that go inside a cover that form one mattress. I wasn't sure what that would be like, but it's very comfortable and easy to put together.

First of all - it is easy to miss the fact that these "require asembly". I was shocked to see this matrress show up in 4 pieces. In addition this mattress is only 6" thick - not 8" thick as advertised. The 1" "pillowtop" is actually between 1/8" to 1/4". Beware, if you return this item because you don't want a mattress that is in pieces, you will have to pay for shipping. Plus the items are so compressed when shipped to you, you will not be able to get it back in the box as it is 3 x larger once it is opened.

I purchased this mattress for my 5 year old. It took less than 15 mins to unpack it and put together...3 coil filled pieces slip inside the mattress cover then zip your done. Great Mattress for the price. Would definately buy this again.
