it is easy to miss the fact that these "require asembly". I was shocked to see this matrress show up in 4 pieces. In addition this mattress is only 6" thick - not 8" thick as advertised. The 1" "pillowtop" is actually between 1/8" to 1/4". Beware, if you return this item because you don't want a mattress that is in pieces, you will have to pay for shipping. Plus the items are so compressed when shipped to you, you will not be able to get it back in the box as it is 3 x larger once it is opened. I currently own a sleep by number bed that is in 2 pieces and a GAP does develop in between separate pieces. I bought this mattress for a guest room, but I would not want to punish my guests with such an uncomfortable mattress. Don't waste your time. Note that I also bought the twin mattress and returned it, but overstock "buried" the review rather than show the reviews in order by date.

Purchased to replace a futon type mattress on a full below/twin above bunk bed. We've had it less than a year, used in a summer vacation home (it's had VERY little use). My 2 young sons sleep on it mostly but whenever I lay down to put them to bed, I can feel the individual coiled springs - not pleasant. At the time, it worked for what we needed as we couldn't fit a traditional mattress in the car, and this comes in a box for you to assemble. It's better than what was there but it won't last long and bottom line, I would not buy another bed like this.

This mattress and its description gave the impression of being a lot better quality and thicker. It is a little flimsy foam slab with springs on the bottm. There is no support in it at all. I would not reccommend this mattress and you can not exchange it if you find it to be unacceptable.

I needed a mattress for a full child's bed. I did not want to put a lot of money into it nor did I need boxsprings (it is a bunk bed). This fit the bill and I thought it would just be foam pieces you put into the mattress form...gladly I was wrong! This is a spring mattress and once assembled, no one would ever know it came in a small box nor that it is three pieces. Our daughters have used it nightly for several months now and I am pleased with it. It is soft, yet firm too. I would repurchase this without batting an eye. Oh, and great price for the quality too!

I was amazed at the small packaging and ease of re assembly of my full-size mattress! I set it up in 10 minutes, and slept comfortably on it that night! I have it on a box-spring in my guest room, and have enjoyed it on (many) nights my husband snores. I am a bit heavy and it supports me without sagging. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick and comfortable mattress--sure was nice not having to lug a large mattress around!

I bought this mattress as a bit of an emergency purchase - circumstances changed in the household and we suddenly had four adults and only two mattresses, one of which was a twin. Yikes! So I purchased this mattress as a new one for myself, freeing up my bed for someone else. All in all, this is much more comfortable than my previous twin bed (although not at all as nice as our other bed.) It comes in pieces, which concerned me, but is remarkably easy to assemble. It took two of us maybe ten minutes. Getting it out of the plastic took longer than putting it together. There was a slight chemical smell as we were unwrapping the pieces, but this dissipated almost immediately. The 1" foam lining is not fantastic, but I wasn't really expecting it to be. I read other reviews that said it was not 6", but that's exactly what mine measures with the foam. The foam, however, is definitely NOT 1", but is so close I don't really care. I slept in it the same night I bought it, and was very comfortable. Again, for the price, you simply can't beat this!

We bought this mattress for a spare in a guest room at a second house. We sleep on a SleepNumber bed at home. This mattress was soooo inexpensive, and the quality and comfort far exceeded my expectations. I tested it out so that I knew it was okay for guests. It's one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on. I do advise adding a fluffy bad pad, as we did, for extra comfort.

Having recently moved to NYC with the bedbug scares, the best look is to get a mattress brand new. If you are young, broke, unemployed, lacking a car and need a mattress, this is the one for you. It comes in a box and you have to assemble it, but the easy to follow instructions mean theres no stress involved. There was no smell, and I'm not very a sensitive sleeper who needs to sleep on a cloud, the mattress was perfectly firm, just how I like it. Its just a comfortable new mattress, after having it for a month I can say I haven't slept this well in a while. I would buy this mattress again and again.

I DID NOT EXPECT MATTRESS TO ARRIVE IN THE SIZE BOX IT DID. I WAS TOTALLY SURPRISED THAT A FULL SIZE MATTRESS WAS OBTAINED WHEN YOU FOLLOW EASY INSTRUCTIONS. MATTRESS IS GREAT TO SLEEP ON AND THE OVERALL QUALITY SEEMS FINE. TIME WILL TELL

Very comfortable, which is all I care about. Well made, as well.

I was thinking each coil would be separate but they are in three sections. My husband was doubtful it would be what I wanted, however it was perfect. The sections head, middle and feet can be interchanged if the need ever arises.
