I bought this mattress for my daughter's apartment. She has a platform bed. I love that it comes in pieces. I was able to carry all of this by myself and the assembly was so easy. She says it is very comfortable and she loves her new bed. This is a great mattress for a small space. I would highly recommend this mattress.

I was looking for a bed that was inexpensive and comfortable for every day use. This one has individually wrapped inner springs with a 2.5 inch memory foam top.The inner springs come in three different chunks that fit inside the cover that has the foam memory top embedded in it. Each of those chunks a bunch in individually wrapped springs. It does off-gas so you will want to leave it in a location that is not to hot or not too cold with a decent amount of ventilation for about a week. Memory foam off-gasses there isn't anything you can do about that fact.I purchased the "Highloft 2-inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper" to go with it. And I must say that these two work marvelously together! Best sleep I've had in years. Moulds to your body.I also added "Beautyrest Cotton Top Mattress Pad" to hold the memory foam in place on top of the mattress.Here is what you need to know. All those little springs in the mattress do not have a solid backing, you need something solid to lay the mattress on. If you have a bed with foundation slats, you will need to put cardboard on top of them before you lay be mattress on top or the springs will eventually poke through the holes between the slats.It's not a negative, just something you need to be aware of when you purchase. If it's on a solid surface, this thing will probably give you years of service.If you are over 250 pounds I would say skip this one unless you purchase additional foam for the top. I say that because you are basically floating on a bed of springs that are foam topped. You can touch bottom if you put enough weight on it in one spot and that would not be comfortable.

This mattress is comforatable. It arrives in a very small box. My boyfriend was very impressed with it he said someone was really thinking when they designed that. Since it comes in sections if you have to move it and don't have a truck its nice that it comes apart. Or if you are somewhere with narrow stairs or something. When I have to move I can fit everything in my car but not beds with this one I can. So if you are in somewhat of a transition its a good bed.

We bought this for our guest room. It seems very comfortable (it's on the softer side) but I don't know if I would buy it to sleep on every night because it doesn't seem like it would last all that long with regular use. But I think it will be great for the occasional guest and it was a good price!

I've had this mattress for two weeks. It arrived within days of ordering. When I opened it up, I noticed that it smelled really toxic, like formaldehyde or something, so I aired it out for a few days before using it. It still smells. I'm a bit concerned. I guess that this is just a standard problem with foam mattresses. At least I didn't pay a lot for it.It is comfortable though. It is firm but still has some give, so it conforms to shoulders and hips more than my $1000 Simmons Beautyrest. My back doesn't seem to hurt when i use this bed. So, I would just recommend airing it out for a weeks before sleeping on it, in hopes that maybe that will off-gas. Also, the fact that it came in four pieces was really convenient for getting up a ladder into a little sleeping loft that I have.

I could not believe how fast I received this after I ordered. I am old and short, so any mattress is a real hassle to move around. This takes away that problem and is very comfortable to sleep on. I love it!

What a surprise when I received my mattress in a 3 foot x 2.5 foot box! I hadn't realized when I ordered it that it had to be assembled. But honestly, it took 30 minutes at most to assemble -- by myself. It's very comfortable. Now I'm getting 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep and awake without any lower back pain. I like that the inner coil system can be shifted around should the mattress or coils become too worn in any one area. I'm very pleased with this purchase and believe it was a good buy.

Ordered this mattress for my son who said he put it together without too much difficulty. He says that it is very comfortable, well worth the money and would recommend it. It also fit into very nicely the Cathedral platform bed which was also bought at Overstock. He is pleased with the looks and comfort.

When I received the mattress in a box I was suprised and, thought that it was not good quality since it had to be put together. However, it is a regular mattress and is very comfortable. The price was very good for such great quality. I am actually sleeping better at night. Once again, the mattress is great. I am glad that I bought it and I saved money.

The small box was strange, but it was very easy to put together. Its not the most comfortable matress in our house but my 2 year old sleeps on it and he doesn't mind.

I bought this mattress to go on top of a slatted base platform bed, and it works like a charm! I did have some issues with assembly (I didn't know you had to assemble the thing, first off). The instructions are easy to read, but the mattress springs that go into the cover need to be pushed in really well, or the mattress will initially be lumpy. Once I finally got it onto the platform bed and laid down on it, I didn't want to get back off of it again. It is providing me with sound sturdy sleep every night, and even my roommate doesn't want to leave my room because bed is so comfy. I would definitely recommend this is as a nice mattress to go on a platform frame. :) The box is quite heavy when it comes, though, and I had to fight it down the stairs. Be wary, or just have someone help you.

I have to admit, I was concerned when the box arrived and it was no bigger than a 2 foot rectangular prism. I thought for sure I had ordered the wrong item. Once I opened the box and saw that everything was in pieces I was still concerened. My husband and I put it together and it was easy and it was for my daughter and there are no complaints from her. She loves it.
