I purchased two of these for our deck. shipped quickly, and arrived well packed. When I laid out the pieces to assemble I noticed several scratches and dings that took away from the quality of the piece. As I started to assemble it, the locking bolts that you screw the pieces into kept coming off, and were very hard to twist back into the wood, which is very "cheap." Still trying to decide if I will return the other one... probably will, though I had wanted matching chairs for our deck. Not uncomfortable to sit in, especially with a seat cushion. Doesn't rock really freely, but enough.

We bought two chairs. The directons to assemble the chairs were poor, vague and useless. I assembled the chairs through "trial and error". The wood is thin and soft. The finish is terrible. The finish was missing on both chairs, the edges chipped, and the stain blotchy. The poor finish iritated me the most. I plan to keep the chairs because they took so long to assemble...and the difficulty to send back. I plan to re-paint. Not a good buy at any price and can not recommend.

Okay, my bad, I ignored most of the bad reviews for this product. I don't think of $105 for a chair as too cheap and thought I would take a chance. I bought two of them. The first one managed to get put together despite inferior hardware. The second one required a trip to the hardware store to replace screws. There was also a nice, long crack in one of the arms which will get worse over time. I would recommend skipping this chair and perhaps most other chairs ordered online. Visit a local store where you can see and touch the merchandise. You also have a place to bring it back if there's a problem. I don't know what awaits me when I try and sort this out.

We're at three of these now and even tho I wanted to mix up my patio furniture - these are the chairs that everyone goes for. This is not the easiest to put together and should have two people there to hold the pieces, but it's well worth the wait. One comment is that it rocks back quite far, which others love for stargazing but I prefer it to rock a bit less back - I just put a stopper behind the leg for me - or a piece of wood. Sometimes I just rock all the way back. Wonderful piece tho. I've paid much more and liked things way less.

I have bought some bad stuff in my day, but this may be the worst. Hardware, wood, paint, instructions all bad. I would not recomend sitting in these more than occasionally. Might be fine for decoration. Wood was split on one rocker, factory installed piece had screws pulled out. Paint job was poor, missing spots. Hardware will strip out very quickly. Careful not to tighten the screws to much, will strip out in the cheap wood.

The wood was cracked and warped, bad enough to potentially cause an injury to someone sitting on the seat. The kit was missing screws. Very cheap and poor quality, my recommendation is to spend more money and get better quality.

For the price, we couldn't be happier with the product.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. We have ordered four adirondack chairs and one rocker. We were so pleased with the Adirondack chairs that we added a second rocker to our deck furnature.

I ordered two chairs: one was broken when I took it out of the box and the other had cracks in it and both had bubbles in the paint. A HUGE disappointment. Overstocks and odd lots are one thing, but busted products are something totally different.

These chairs are very poorly made and were not shipped very well. The boxes were broken and beaten in when I received them. When I opened one box, the hardware was loose and rolling around inside the box, not to mention that some of the hardware was missing. When I opened the second box, the chair was split and broken. We immediately shipped these items back and are awaiting a refund. The customer service at Overstock has been very helpful. I believe the actual quality of the chairs are poor, however, I believe that Overstock has every intention of keeping their customers satisfied. Based on this experience, I probably would order from Overstock again, just not furniture.

I read the existing reviews and almost didn't order this rocker. But I like it very much. The only problem was that it had no assembly instructions in the box, so I had to print a photo from the website and figure it out myself.

I bought 2 of these chairs for my outside deck. In less than a month the paint was cracking & peeling off the chairs. The chairs also started cracking. :( Needless to say...I was not happy. I really love the look of the chairs but feel my $ wasn't well spent on this brand. I feel they will not hold up staying outside through all of the seasons.

I ordered two of the black adirondack rockers to place on our front porch. My husband put the first one together and discovered the front piece that holds the arm in place with the rest of the chair was drilled backwards. We are still trying to figure out how to best handle that situation. The other one went together alright, but I have noticed one of the armrests is splitting, right where someones hand/wrist would rest. I fear over some time, this is going to become very sharp and uncomfortable. These chairs were a decent price, but with any oversized online purchase, when it's not right, it's a much bigger problem than just dropping it back in the mail.

My rocker came faster that I expected, which was awesome, and was exactly as advertised -- what else could a buyer want!

I purchased 3 chair in black -- 2 adult size and one kid size chair. In less than a month in my front yard, the paint was peeling and cracking a lot. Plus several of the bolts are longer than necessary, sometimes catching on clothing when you sit. I would not recommend these if you are worried about appearance of the paint on these chairs.

I bought this rocker in red for my 1 year old boys new nautical bedroom. The color is not fire engine red, it's more of a country barn red and I love it. Its solid as a rock and seems to be built to last if planning on keeping it indoors. Highly recommended!

The shipping was speedy and they came with all their parts. The rockers were very easy to put together. The stain is exactly what I wanted. They look nice on the deck. Thank you.

this product was missing parts, not packed well, not completely painted. don't buy it!
