Though not as comfortable as I would have liked, this bench is attractive and sturdy. If you are looking for something that you will be using for sitting long periods, you might want to consider something else. We will use it in the front of our camp as a quick place to sit and gather things or drop things off while headed to our next destination. It's an inviting and attractive looking piece

This bench is fantastic. I plan to put it in my back yard under my tree after I water seal it.

We got this bench right away. It was very easy to put together. The only problem we had was that there were no predrilled holes as indicated in the directions.

I received the Bench later than expected. It has some broken pieces and the finish was not perfect. There were several places where I had to use a sander to smooth it out and use glue to prevent splinters as some ends had chipped wood. I donot believe it was worth the money. It is an unfinished piece of furniture. I have since seen several finished high quality benches for the same price.

The chair is certainly pretty and has a rustic feel and look. I painted it black. However, my complaints are that the construction holes did not align properly and the measurements displayed in product details are off. The bench really is 48 inches in length not width. I couldn't use it where I originally intended to.

i'm very happy with my bench. it was delivered quickly, was easy to assemble and it is comfortably to sit on. my only problem is it looks too new. the wood needs to weather a bit to match the house and deck.

I've had this bench in my rock garden for a good while ... it is beginning to age and the color is looking quite nice. The wood has a few cracks ... but is still perfect for my use.

I bought this bench along with the garden chair & a square table. Love all the pcs. Completely satisfied with ALL ! I put a wood stain & clear semi-gloss urethane on all the pcs. and they look great. Quality = A+

I read the reviews before purchasing this bench -- I also agree that the bench needs a good sanding before using...in fact, you could spend 2-3 hours, depending on how detailed you'd like to be. But, it takes a stain nicely and is quite sturdy. I just bought it, so am hopeful that it lasts well through the rainy season.

Item arrived very quickly. The surprise is that it was a quick and easy assembly, this is a very sturdy item.......looking forward to many years of use.

I bought two of these a couple of weeks ago, put them together and put some Thompsons water seal on them, they are gorgeous. Had to get two more. Fairly easy to get together, and sturdy as heck. Nice benches, love them!

This garden bench was pretty easy to assemble; did a bit of sanding on some rough edges where hands/ seat come in contact, not that long to do. Decided to stain & seal bench, a toss up with letting it age to grey naturally; it looks terrific. The contoured seat makes this bench very comfortable; & is sturdy. Great value, would buy another!

I bought this bench to go under a huge, fragrant pine tree. It will not need painting or refinishing, which was a main objective. Only one predrilled hole had to be relocated, otherwise it was very easy to assemble. This bench is strong, generously proportioned and comfortable. My husband and I expect to enjoy it together for many years. You will be happy with one for yourself!

The bench arrived in three days. My husband assembled the pieces quickly. He did have to use his tools as the little tool that was stated in the instructions was not included. The bench went together easily and looks great in our yard. Smells good too! Very sturdy and should weather well.

I needed a bench that was sturdy and low maintenance, and this bench fits the bill. It is extremely sturdy and it was easy to assemble. It looks beautiful in its garden setting; we left it plain to weather naturally. We are able to do that because the bench is white cedar, which resists rot and insects, and weathers to a beautiful gray color. This bench is extremely comfortable, and seats two easily. I am very happy with this bench. It functions very well as a centerpiece in a small garden I have created. The bench does need a bit of sanding to remove rough spots and splinters, but it is well worth doing that for the very competitive price on this bench. I definitely recommend this bench.

I was looking to replace a bench whose arms rusted over the winter. This bench fits perfectly under a birch tree & it looks great. The bench seat is contoured and very comfortable. Product arrived without any discoloration of the wood and no chips or broken pieces. Husband reported easy assembly with no missing parts. Great value for the price.

I think this is a good value for the money. It has to be assembled. It went together easily. You should sand the rough spots, to keep splinters from getting little hands. If you are patient and deliberate, it should work out fine.

I like this bench. I had read the reviews and the bench was as I expected. Delivery was prompt. Instructions on building it were good. It didnt take long to put together and there are a number of different options on how to finish the bench. Felt I had value for money.

The bench is heavy, went together easily, and seems to be very sturdy. We painted it a shiny black, put it in the back of the garden, and with the peonies in bloom on either side of it, it looks really old fashioned. This was a good buy.
