Bought this mattress for a twin bed/trundle set in a guest room. It gets used several times a year. Not sure how it would hold up for every day use but for my purposes it has been a great product. My guests say they are very comfortable. I bought it for the thickness since it needs to slide under the twin bed. No idea about which side is which as it didn't matter to me.Read More
This comes in 3 pieces. One is a base, then you have a choices of very firm or a softer w/ memory foam. I have a small loft with a twin bed in it...it is perfect for what I needed.Read More
the beds are great, was a little confusing at first when you take them out as far as how they're suppossed to go together, but once that was figured out it was fine. beds are comfy too!!Read More

We ordered two of these to use for trundle mattresses. We are using them for our young children and they are perfect.Read More
These mattresses were a little fumy but the smell did come out. We had been using a standard issue RV mattress (cheap) and having all sorts of aches and pains and weren't resting well but after installing this mattress, we have been getting a very good night's sleep. It is firm enough for my husband (who could practically sleep on a board) and soft enough for me (and I could sleep on a cloud). I'm not sure how that can be but it is. Very worth the money. We actually decided to make the entire length of our bedroom in the rv a bed so we bought a full size and twin size and then cut them to a custom length. Very nice! Let's our little kids stay with us on stormy nights!Read More
I bought this mattress because my 10 years old daughter was starting to have lower back pains because her regular spring mattress. This memory foam mattress has given her relief since she got it as it will adapt the shape of whoever is laying on it and it is really soft and comfortable to the point that we are getting it for our son's bed and will also buy in king size for my own bed.Although it is a RV mattress you only stay on bed overnight if you know what I mean so it will be a great addition to anybody's house....your back will be happy. Wehn it comes to odors there are no bad or chemical odors just the new scent of any unwrapped product and that is it. The cover sheet that comes with it is not too strong nut is not too bad neither and the mattresses in general are very simple to assembly.Read More
Plus points Price is low. Delivery was timely. Easy to put together. Comfort level is medium if you are looking for a firm support. Only good if ordered for minimal use/ guest bedroom, etc.Negative points As mentioned on the product info, smell is awful, can not be used for a few days after opening. Three separate mattresses come in separate boxes. Only a fabric cover given. Nothing holds them in place or on top of each other. In my case, middle mattress is 2.5" wider than the other two. Doesnt look good even after using the cover and a fitted sheet.Overall, just OK compared to the cost.Read More
I guess I didn't know what a "component sleep system" is. It never occurred to me that it would consist of three separate pieces of foam that you sandwich together to make the bed. They supply a cover, but the cover is very poor quality and a very sloppy fit. On top of all that, even after airing the layers out for a week, one of the layers still smelled terrible of chemical. I'm sorry that I didn't send this back, but once out of the box there is NO WAY to get it back into it for return shipment.Read More

Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
How to Choose a Memory Foam Mattress Topper
Memory foam, also called "temper foam," was first developed by NASA in the mid-1960s to ensure passenger comfort and protection in airplane seats. Memory foam mattress toppers mold to the body, and then slowly spring back to their original shape. This makes them ideal for those with back or joint pain. However, not all memory foam mattress toppers are the same. Here's how to choose one that will best suit your needs.
Top 5 Reasons for Buying an Air Mattress
Air mattresses aren't what they used to be. Nowadays, air mattresses offer a slew of sleep-inducing features, like pillow tops, memory foam mattress pads and even built in MP3s, vastly improving on their giant-sized, pool-toy predecessors. As features improve, air mattresses, also known as air beds, are becoming more and more popular and are being used for a number of different functions, even in place of regular mattresses. Keep reading to find out the top five ways that you can get the most out of your air mattress.
Top 5 Reasons to Own a Memory Foam Topper
If you like to sleep well, nothing will help you quite like a memory foam topper. Memory foam mattress toppers can turn any bed into a place of dreamy, soft comfort. Choosing the Right Density for Your Memory Foam Mattress
A decade ago, choosing a memory foam mattress was easier because there were so few brands and options. However, as the prices of memory foam mattresses have dropped, more brands have begun producing memory foam bedding, and choosing the right mattress has become more challenging. However, one factor remains constant throughout the different brands: memory foam density. Memory foam density, expressed in pounds per cubic foot, makes a big difference in the softness, durability, support, and price of your mattress. Knowing a little about the different densities of memory foam mattresses can simplify the buying process and help you find the memory foam mattress that's right for you.
There are basically three common types of mattresses used today: spring mattresses, memory foam mattresses, inflatable mattresses and feather beds. Each type has its own benefits. A mattress pad is a less expensive way to add comfort to your bed than purchasing a whole new mattress. With that said, if your mattress is lumpy or saggy, a mattress topper probably won't make much difference. If it is good, though, you have many different choices in material, price, and comfort. Whatever you get, just make sure you purchase the right size for your bed frame. Take a look below to learn more about the best-selling mattresses on the market.
