Pretty and functional
I love this shelf, it's very modern and retro all at the same time. Do not try to hang it using nails, wood screws are a much better idea, and the spaces on the ends for a decorative piece do not hold much weight, keep things below a pound.

Poor manufacturing
The following descriptions were absent, Color: Dark Brown Hardware: None, you have to provide your own screws Sheet metal were not right angles at the bends but I figured that from the picture. Also, sheet metal was bent in a couple of spots and one connecting shelf piece to another piece was not welded flat together. Backing and shelf were not welded across the width but spot welded at the bends. Overall, it was as expected -- cheaply made -- but design is unique.

Poor quality
The "shelves" are bent sheet metal spot welded to another piece of sheet metal. I ordered four and NONE of them were bent in right angles. The color of the website picture is accurate but the powder coating seemed REALLY thin, I think it was only 1 coat? or maybe the didn't seal it? I'm not sure but it felt to me like it would chip easily.

I actually bought this as a Christmas gift so it hasn't been used yet. What came is what I expected though so I am sure they will love it!

Practical and fun
No bookends required and small enough to put in a tight spot. I bought two for either side of my monitor and they are perfect- easy to hang too

OK Product
Pretty flimsy one of the sodered spots already came detached. Haven't hung it up yet with any wieght on it, but hopefully will hold. For this price I'd think it would be a little more sturdy

Neat little bookrack. I used it for a wall-accent peice. Love the size and the abstract compartments.
