I am redoing my living room in purple and sage, so these chairs seemed perfect. After waiting months for them to come back into stock, I ordered and received them in just 5 days. The color and design are great, however, these chairs are big. Much larger than I expected. They are not comfortable, but since they are mostly "for show", they will suffice. I am 5'6", and due to the bulkiness and height of the chair, when I sit with my back to the back of the chair, my feet do not touch the ground. Also, as the other reviewers noted, some of the screws do not fit into the holes. Ended up stripping one of them, so hubby had to fix it. They are pretty to look at, but if you're planning on sitting in them alot, I would not buy these.

The directions don't go into enough detail about how to attach the front legs. You are supposed to slip them into the extreme corner instead of through the larger opening. That must be why people are saying the legs are wobbly, because the screw seems too long if you don't put it in the right place. The chair looks a little cheap, but for the price I am really happy with it and I think it is a good deal. It's really hard and not very comfy, but I didn't buy it to be a chair that I would sit in all the time. I bought it as a chair for guests to sit in when I have a lot of people over so it is good enough for that. The color is just like the picture.

Love is the best way for me to describe this chair! It fits well in my livingroom. Being an armless is not only stylish but allows me ease from either side of the chair. I can sit with comfort "indian" style. Easy to assemble! I wish I could use one in every room! I compared prices in a boutique near here & the difference was outrageous and I am one to buy things from my area businesses.

We bought this chair in the nutmeg color for our beadroom. It's a wonderful chair in every way. Quality fabric, structure, nice wide seat (although the seat isn't soft) and a pillow cushion with the chair.The chair was easily put together by my husband and he had no problems at all. He is handy and sometimes that makes a difference.The chair arrived quickly which we were happy to see. There was no visible damage on the shipping carton and the item was packed securely.Love this chair!

I purchased these chairs as accent chairs for my liviing room. The chairs are very nice and look great. I have received many compliments on their apperance. The only negative would be the assembly, you need two people and some patience. The chairs are sturdy and are comfortable to sit in. I am very happy with my purchase.

I bought 5 of these for the consultation rooms of a doctor's office. Everone loves them! They are comfortable, yet nice and firm so you don't sink into them. They have a wide seat and are sturdy enough for two people to sit on. The color is very close to the photo--it is nicely neutral because it has some grey to it. I didn't assemble them, so I can't comment on that. This was my first purchase, and I will definitely look here first when I'm buying.

I ordered two chairs for a sitting area. I love the chairs. They are exactly what I was looking for. One chair came damaged with a cracked leg. I called the support number and the customer service was top notch! The new back and legs arrived four days later in great condition! The chairs were very easy to assemble!

Nice chair to display. Not comfy to sit on. Didn't like having to put it together and then the legs did not match up with the pre-drilled wholes. We had to drill the correct size wholes ourselves.

Using as an accent chair in my media room. It wont get a ton of use as I imagine it isnt a comfy chair for long amounts of time, but perfect for when we have people over. Great, unique piece!

So happy with this purchase. Bought two of the Plum Argyle accent chairs. Took me about 1 hour, by myself, to put both together. On one of the chairs I had a little trouble threading the bolts into the holes, but think that was more operator error. The chairs look fabulous. Love the color, and love the size of them. They are large chairs. They are not the most comfortable chairs.. but they are perfect for accenting a room, and using for occassional sitting. Shipping was lightning fast too! Triple plus. LOVE overstock!

This chair is fantastic! It arrived quickly and was very easy to put together. It is a dark dusky purple and the argyle pattern really stands out. It looks retro and although I have it in a room that is more French Traditional with a few ecclectic vintage pieces it fits in perfectly. The seat is large and the chair sits kind of low to the ground and although I don't sit in the chair much I do find it comfortable when I do. I have pets who sit in this chair more than I do and they do shed on it, but it is easy to keep clean and fur free with any of the pet hair removers available at any discount store or even the vacuum for that matter. I like this chair and would recommend it!

We were inpressed with the comfort and how deep the seating was. Most slipper chairs are not this large. A great add to living room seating.

I was extremely happy with this purchase. The chair arrived in less than one week, and assembly took about 30 minutes for one person. The color and pattern is a perfect compliment to my living room, and the color was true to the photo online. The quality of the fabric is good, and I was very impressed as this is my first purchase from overstock. The chair is not comfortable at all, but we won't be using it for much more than an accent piece anyway.

True to the other reviews: it was difficult and tedious to assemble. The coloring is nice and a deep eggplant color. The cushioning is quite firm. The pillow is small and insignificant.

I bought 2 of these chairs (a second one after I saw the first one in my home). They look exactly like the online picture except the two I received came with a slightly smaller-sized pillow that what's shown. The color is plum chenille with a different type of fabric for the charcoal argyle. One was a little harder to put together than the other...stripped screw hole? After some wrestling with the problem bolt, it when together and is sturdy. NOT a comfortable chair at all but I bought them for accent chairs that would only get used if we have extra guests. Exactly what I was expecting and for a great price. Had to knock a star off for not being comfortable and the problem bolt.
