The holes were drilled on the wrong side of one of the ends so it couldn't be assembled. It's such that you can't just drill holes either - the holes would go through the piece entirely and have nothing to bolt to. We tried for 7 requests, 3 deliveries and 6 months to get pieces that actually fit. The last delivery was an entirely new bench which had the same problem too. It looks like it would be a nice enough bench if you get one that's manufactured correctly, but we finally gave up and will buy a bench locally come springtime.

I ordered this bench based on positive reviews but was very disappointed. The first bench I received had defective pieces in the box. Overstock sent me a second bench and it was in worse shape than the first. Be forewarned that this is not the bench it appears to be in the picture. Quality control on this item is poor.

This bench was delivered as promised and was not that difficult to put together. It looks great on my porch and is built strong. I would get another if I had a place to put it.

we love this bench. It is sitting in the middle of a tree orchard of 80 english hawthorn tree's for the purpose to relax and have quite time when needed.

I received this bench in record time (3 days)and was anxious to get it put together and on my porch.It was an easy install but once it was up I realized that the finish was not at all as shown in the picture on the Internet.It has a yellowish tone, very irregular color..and a very rough finish...I will need to sand this whole bench down and put a few coats of oil or varnish on it.Just some extra work that I was not planning...and because of this I feel the price was too high.

The bench was very easy to put together, luckily, because it came with absolutely no paperwork or instructions. I would have liked some information about the quality and care of the bench wood (oil if it'll be getting wet or be in the sun?, etc.) Also, got the whole thing put together, but wasn't able to get some of the seat bottom screws in, particularly because they all have only allen wrench screws and I couldn't get any torgue on them. The bench looks very nice.

The bench is just what I expected from the photo and discription. My husband put it together and didn't think it was the best of quality. For the price, I am happy.

I looked all over the internet for a good bench that was inexpensive. This is what I settled upon. The color is a nice warm cherry brown color. The finish is very rough; almost raw so I would recommend using some oil on it for protection. I intend to varnish mine next year. It assembled rather simply. I've kept it on my outdoor porch which is covered above and can find no damage from the weather. It has been there all summer. I am pleased with both the quality and price.

I returned this bench after discovering that all of the holes drilled for the screws were too large. If they had been the proper size I would have been very happy with the bench, but there was no good way to put it together.

Worst purchase - shoddy construction - precut holes aren't cut all the way thru - some holes aren't cut at all - some holes don't line up at all - have been happy with all previous purchases but would never buy this product again.

I love the look of the bench and would have loved to sit on it but all of the predrilled holes were too large for the bolts to grab and hold. Sad-I will return tomorrow. I will continue to order from O.co as I have much more good luck than bad. Great Customer Service. I will reorder something else to replace this bench.

this was a great addition near my front door, it was exactly what i was looking for, it needed assembly but was super simple. highly recommend.

I was amazed at the high quality of this bench. I've seen these for up to $500. Looks fabulous.

We are pleased with the appearance and quality of the bench. It did require more assembly that we had thought because the pre-drilled holes did not match up to accept the screws provided. After our handy-man neighbor took a look, used his drill to make new holes, it all came together.

My purchase was intended to replace a built-in worn out bench on my deck. I found the Acacia Wood 49-inch Bench easy to assemble and in no time I was ready for summer entertaining. I actually bought two benches and a table/chair combo. All three pieces now create an inviting conversation area.

I bought this bench several months ago. I have been pleased with it. The color is as displayed in the picture. I did have a little trouble with assembly, but it was my fault and easily fixed. I don't think it is a bench that will last for years. For the price, it's a good bench.

The bench was good quality, but very difficult to put together. There really should be better written directions.

Bought 3 of these benches. Thought they looked nice and they looked real sturdy in the picture. They sat in front of my restaurant. The last benches I had lasted 3 years and I paid about the same from somewhere else. These benches fell apart. Two customers are threatening to sue over the bench calapsing as they were sitting in it. I can't say enough about the disappointment in this purchase. Note: All 3 benches were assembled correctly and were sturdy as can be at the beginnning. M<uch of the failure happenned in the premade parts of the bench.
