I generally do not write these but the quality was well beyond my expectations. The chairs and hardware made me say "WOW". The color and texture of the chairs held up very well over this past summer. I would highly recommend. the cushions are not as well made as I thought they would be but they are pretty and fit the chairs well

Chairs would only recline fully and would not lock in any other position. Hardware operation and finish was substandard.

I bought this chair from Overstock for the great price of about $$$ bucks. At first I was in love with it and wanted to use it for evening book reading on my patio. Please, do not use this chair without thick padding. After about 20 minutes or so my back bone and tail bone were in pain from the slats on the chair. Because this is a less expensive steamer chair it is very narrow, 19", and its tough to find a nice cushion for it that's not around 100 dollars. Not wanting to spend that much I've been using three patio table chair cushions stacked on top of each other and on the back of the chair a saddle blanket folded over a few times. After one year, although its not in the sun all day just a couple of hours in the afternoon, the finish has faded and is beginning to peel. Not a problem because I can refinish it with deck finish and it will hold longer. Nice looking chair but uncomfortable and takes effort to maintain.

We love the look of the chairs. Some of the pluses: they fold up and setup very easily - they take up little space when folded. Also, they are sturdy enough for almost any size person. Very nice product.

I find that the bend in the middle of the chair is uncomfortable even with a lounge cushion.

Although it doesn't have cushion, it is comfortable and soft.The smooth space in each slat doesn't harm for my skin.

I have some problem with hardware but i receive new one as soon as i give vendor a call.Now it is absolutely good.

I've had these chairs for about 11 months now and am still pleased I had one piece of hardware break, but a little gorilla glue fixed it right up. I don't think you can beat these chairs for the price. Other chairs like this go for at least double the price.

The item came with cracked leg, and we have tried to get it replaced, but to this date, it has not been sent. also, we thought we were getting the same chair that was displayed on the web, but what came was different, not like the last two we received that were represented in the photo.

We purchased this chair last month and it was a fabulous deal. The price is excellent, the wood is solid and sturdy, the dark color is very handsome and the assembly practically non-existent. You need only attach the lower leg extension piece. It is very comfortable with or without a cushion. We are looking forward to having it for many seasons to come.

these chairs are made of a poor quality wood.... the hardware is very substandard and many of the screws were stripped. one chair has the letter 'r' stained in the top of the back. i suppose they might last me for one summer maybe two if we dont use them much. DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU ARE LOOKING FOR "THE LOOK FOR ONE SUMMER"

My first time buying on Overstock and I solely depended on the one and only review of this product. I was prepared for a flimsy shipping box but, the wood was packed neatly in the box. I purchased two chairs and only one had a slight spilt under the arm joint that I felt was durable enough to stand up for light wear and tear use. For a wood product this seemed like a steal. The lounge chair needs a back pillow in order to be truely comfortable and a wipe down of the excess oil that the chair is covered in. Overall, I am impressed by the look and comfort a product from Overstock.

The deck chairs look fantastic! Very nice colored wood, richly appointed and sturdy. They were easy to assemble. We added some standard deck chair cushions but the chairs are comfortable even without cushions. The adjustable chair back is easy to operate. I was a little nervous when the shipment first arrived as the packing seemed a little flimsy but the chairs were unharmed.
