'Absinthe Robette' Framed Textured Art

My sister ordered this for my birthday and I love it! The gel texture makes it look almost like glass and gives it a very interesting glow under lights. I love vintage posters with bold colors, but the acid green and yellow in the original didn't go with the decor in my house. I loved the fact that this print was a bit more subtle. The greens are more in the mint/sage family. The print is very large, and looks much more expensive-I highly recommend!

This print is supposed to be uber vibrant - hot cadmium or oxide yellows and acid greens (reminiscent of the notorious chartreuse green of absinthe itself) , but the one I received was almost pastels. It is pretty, but if you are decorating around other art deco items - the colors may seem a bit misplaced. That said, the frame is decent. The textured gel-coating is just fine. It reminds me of the privacy glass you used to see in older bathrooms. All in all a good value, but I wish the colors were more true to form to the original.

I've had this hanging in my bathroom for a few months now and I love it. The colors are bright and the print is standing up to the heat and moisture of the bathroom. All in all, this is a fun, durable print.

i was well pleased with my purchase. it is large but not imposing. the frame and acrylic glazing makes the picture stand out, as i have had many compliments on it. i placed it in my den in which it gives the turn of the 19th century feel. the shipping took about a week and arrived in perfect condition ready to hang. i am looking for more similar to this product. thanks overstock.
