Heavy wood!
This bed (king) is VERY heavy! You do NOT need a box-spring for this bed (unless you like to sleep high up!), it has 2 support legs in the middle under the bed. VERY sturdy, will last for a long time! Be sure to have moving-coasters under each leg if you ever try to move it!

Well constructed bed frame--Simple and classy!
Absolutely solidly built bed frame. I was thrilled when it was delivered and the white glove service delivery team constructed the entire bed frame and set it up. They were wonderful and the bed is wonderful. This is one of the best values I've seen for the price and would highly recommend this bed frame.

Solid build, beware of highrise mattress
It looks nice and seems like a good value. If it holds up over the years, I'll be pretty happy about this purchase. One warning though. If you put your standard box spring AND mattress on the bed, the top of the mattress will be several inchess above the top of the footboard, not a good look. You will have to do one of the following to compensate: -get a thinner mattress -buy 3 inch box springs -get a piece of plywood the size of your mattress and put the mattress on top of that. -dismantle your box springs and just use wood fram as a support for your mattress. We did this, but it wasn't an insignificant project.

Nice King Sleigh
I am so pleased with our new king bed, the construction is amazing and very solid built bed frame. The level of white glove service we received from the delivery team was more than professional, they were very quick at assembling the entire bed frame and set it up and were very courteous and professional. They were wonderful and the bed is wonderful. This is one of the best decision to buy and for the great price! I would recommend to family and friends anytime.

Bed broken after less than 4 months
One of the slats underneath the bed is broken, after less than four months of very light use. No jumping on the bed, etc. Stay clear!
