Really liking the construction of this bed that its of solid hardwood. The leather feels like nice quality leather and the color dark brown is perfect for what we were looking for to match the rest of the bedroom pieces. Its nice that a box spring is not required and still has sufficient support. Would definitely recommend to any family and friends.Read More
"This bed is very nice for my new guest room. The picture doesn't really do the headboard justice. It's tall and impressive and really makes a statement in the room. I was afraid that it wasn't going to look good in this room but extremely pleased. I think it's an excellent value for the price. Oh, and it was delivered sooner than expected, too!!!"Read More

We bought this for our guest room. We received the bed in perfect condition. It is a very solid piece. This is a platform bed but when we put our mattress on it the slats were not supportive enough. The bed seemed a bit low also. We ended up buying a low profile box spring and it has worked out beautifully. It also raises the bed up slightly making it easier to put sheets on. The head board is nice and tall so you can put pillows and sit up easily and read or whatever. All in all we like it.Read More
We received this bed within 3 weeks of purchase. It arrived in 3 boxes. The headboard, footboard, and sides were all in perfect condition. We also ordered the Abbyson Living memory foam mattress after seeing it also had good reviews (and we figured it had to be a great fit). We have been quite pleased with our purchase. It was pretty easy to put together (you can do this with only a screw driver to screw down the slats). It is a two-person job to get the frame together as it takes a little muscle because the covering near the couplings creates a bit of a challenge. We are now two-weeks into sleeping on the bed and are pleased. It does rest low since we are not using a boxspring, but if we would have gone with a 14 inch mattress it might have made a bit of a difference.Read More
Questions & Answers
Thank you for contacting us, mtnzmom. The overall height of the footboard is 15-inches, including the feet/legs. The feet/legs are approximately 4-inches high. The siderails/side panels measure approximately 6-inches from bottom to top. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
The bed is stated as 93.5 inches long or "deep", how can this be a Queen bed when the standard length or "deepness" of a bed is 80 inches. With my 80 inch mattress wouldnt there be a gaping space between end of mattress and end of bed?
Hi meat55, this bed is overall approximately 93.5 inches deep/long. That includes the headboard and footboard. Measurement is taken from the very end of the curve back on the headboard to the very end of the curve back on the footboard. The sleep surface where the mattress will go is approximately 80 inches, the standard queen size. Hope this helps! Sherri R.
So just to be sure, the slat system is *included* with the bed, correct?
Thank you for contacting us, tomuncle. Yes, the slat system is included and you will not need a box spring. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Hi, the description says that the slat design eliminates the need for a boxspring. What kind of slats and center support are included (since there is no picture)? Is it all wood or is there some metal part?
Hello tomuncle, this uses a 14 slat system. It is not stated whether it is a wood or metal slat support system. Thank you for shopping with us! Terri D.
What is the weight capacity for this bed?
Hello freteriche, This bed is so beautiful! The weight capacity for this bed is 500 pounds. I hope this information helps. Thanks for shopping with us.
How many slats included? The height from slat to the floor?
This bed is designed so you can use slats, but slats do not come with it. I would recommend that you use a queen size bed frame.
Is the back of the headboard finished in the leather material as well? Thanks.
Yes, the back is finished.
Is this bed a whole set or just head and foot board
Thank you for your interest. It is the bed without the mattress.
