bought to do some light welding and repairs, has worked great. Definately great product for hobbiest, you can't beat it for the money

Ordered this for my husbands 40th birthday. Boy did I hit the jackpot on this. He has always wanted one but they were always too expensive. According to my husband...the welder was a super buy for many reasons..Price was half that of equal welders he had looked at, quality was A+, size is perfect for his small shop. We did have to buy more things to go with it, but he didnt mind at all. It shipped really fast and had it over a week before his birthday. If you know someone who has been looking for one of these...definitly get this one...My husband has already repaired a chair, some kind of clamp thing, and some sort of doohickie in his shop. He and his dad looked like two ten year old boys on Christmas morning opening the present of their dreams.
