Assembly Required

    Well, it arrived in separate pieces that I had to put together. Leather is very thin and it does NOT fully recline. It is okay to watch TV and relax but really wanted one that went back all the way. Color is multi tone which gives it a nice lived-in look ( not worn out though) Studs are aligned correctly so they are nice and straight. Enjoy it and happy I purchased on sale.

  • Frustrating piece, had to return

    Chair came in two main pieces. I was very disappointed to find that after 2 hours of struggling with the leg assembly, I just kept failing at it.. Come to find out, the wooden interior didn't line up with the screws...Not to mention, the legs were all nicked and flawed.. I was willing to compensate with a phone call to Overstock.. But when I took off the packaging of the chairback, I saw on either side of the headrest 2 scratch marks from top-bottom. Something definitely to do with quality control, as the packaging was fine. I have a feeling this was someone's return, and I feared that it would be flawed before receiving- that I would be THAT one with bad luck like other reviewers. Return shipping was a huge hassle, as I got the run around, wrong phone numbers to call, and a wrong reference return number (for the shipping co). I am glad though, that the refund was done immediately upon return pick-up.

  • Quality control

    This chair arrived with two left front legs and the holes were drilled to low for the bolts to go straight in. The legs will bolt on but with a great deal of trouble. Overstock is trying to get this fixed. We will see. This is a quality control issue and should never have left the factory. The chair is very comfortable. I like firm chairs with good lower back support. I also like to sit in a more upright position. This chairs works well for me. You don't sink too deep into it like some lounge chairs. It only has one position when reclined, legs up and back down - not great for watching TV if you want your legs up. I would have rated this chair 4 stars if it wasn't for the legs. The shipper they used did not arrive on the day they said they would and on the second attempt they were way later than the time they said would arrive. The box was damaged and taped over but the chair was fine. Overstock gave me a $50 credit on my next purchase to compensate. That helps but I would much rather have it delivered on time. I missed a day of work when I shouldn't have had to.
