I was hesitant to buy furniture that I could not try out. Once it arrived, my nerves were at ease as it is very comfortable. My husband loved the leather smell. If you're seriously considering leather, be sure to do your research on the different types of leather (for example: top grain vs bonded). We purchased this because it is top grain leather on the seating surfaces and should last much longer than bonded. The leather looks like an espresso, dark chocolate color. The feet are solid wood. We were concerned about it being too difficult to push back to recline, but the level of tightness or looseness of the pushback feature can be adjusted very easily if you just recline once and tighten or loosen a piece underneath the loveseat. We love that it doesn't look like the typical bulky reclining sofa. Other reviewers commented on it being too short, but I'm 5'11" and it works just fine for me. It's not flat enough for me to sleep on; however, my husband falls asleep on it all the time. It was easy to take out of the box and put together. The first loveseat we received had a flaw. The two panels on the back of the middle of the loveseat didn't meet: 3 inches of the frame showed. Overstock kindly sent us a new one and picked up the old one. The back panels on the new one don't cover up the frame entirely, but only about 1.5 inches shows. I discussed my concern with them and they gave us a one hundred dollar credit. One final thing to note is that it will need to be far from the wall in order to fully recline, but that's not a problem for us since it's in the middle of the room.
