Excellent Value
I've purchased a couple of comparable desks from Pier One for double the money and there is no difference. This looks good, was easy to put together and is very functional. I received it in 4 days and in perfect condition. I'm ordering another one right now.

It's ok!
The bottom shelf is about 11.5" tall, almost 13" wide, and 15.5" deep. The top shelf is almost 9.5" tall, almost 13" wide, and 13" deep. So no, you can't put a mid or full sized computer case on a shelf. I didn't read the instructions and I messed up the top of it. DOH! Other than that, packaged well, easy to assemble, light weight, and sturdy. Color matches other espresso finishes that I own.

Sturdy little desk
I needed a small desk that I could incorporate into my living room without turning my living room into an office. This desk is perfect. The scale is small so it's unobtrusive but it's very functional. I use this as my main desk when I get home from work in the evenings and on weekends. I have it sitting behind the sofa so no-one walking into the room can really see the desk unless they really look for it. The lower shelf on the left is not quite big enough for the printer I have sitting there but it works as a place to store the printer. My husband put it together in a couple of hours and the only problem he had was a nut or bolt that broke in half - with one half in his hand and the other half in the desk. Seems to be sturdy even given that so we're not too worried about it. Overall, I'd recommend it.

woderful desk
The desk looks better than on the picture. It was pretty easy to assemble: we needed about an hour to assemble it . For the price this desk is a very good purchase.

Perfect make-up desk
I have been looking for a desk I could fit in my bedroom where I could do my make-up...instead of the bathroom sink. I really like this one because it does not take up too much space and has a more open look. The make up bench fits perfectly under the desk top and when I sit there is plenty of knee room. I put seldom used items in baskets on the shelves to the left. They are easily accessible when I need them but not taking up space on the top. I am very pleased with my purchase. It is exactly what I needed.

This desk is Awesome!
This desk was easy to assemble by myself and took only about 20 minutes. It is attractive, compact and very sturdy. I wanted a desk that was not too bulky and this desk was perfect. The color is beautiful - a very dark cherry (expresso) and compliments the A-Frame ladder shelves. I would recommend Overstock to my friends who want to purchase quality products. Thank you.

Depends on how much use you are looking for!
This is a nice desk, pretty color and relatively easy to put together. It is not SUPER sturdy. If you are looking for a desk to hold ALOT of weight this might not be for you. We use it for a laptop and a printer and some papers, nothing extra heavy. Looks really nice in our room though.

Great Desk
It's a great desk, easy to build and very practical when you don't have tons of space. The shelf isn't big enough to hold our printer, but then again, it really wasn't designed to so it's fine. It helps give those papers and knick-knacks a home and is also very stylish and pleasant to look at. Great buy

Hard to assemble
I couldn't really ever get it together rifght. It fell apart the first time I tried to move it. A waste of money.

Just what I wanted!
This small desk is just what I was looking for to put my computer in the sunroom. It doesn't rob the small room of space but gives plenty of surface for the computer and printer. Printer sits on top....too big for the shelf, but the shelves are great for extra paper and supplies. It is very stylish and I am glad I ordered it.
