Too deep!
5 inches is far too deep for a bird bath. I don't know what this was intended to be but a bird bath it is not. It's far too small in diameter and far too deep. It would pose a danger to most song birds. When I was about 10 I made a bird bath using a container much like this and a bird ended up drowning in it. Song birds cannot swim and any bird bath that they can't reach the bottom of without going under they will drown in. Put a plant in it, but don't use it for a bird bath!

DANGEROUS FOR BIRDS!!!
I agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer. This is NOT a birdbath, and would pose a grave risk to birds or other wildlife attempting to use it. It is clearly a planter. This item should be renamed and recategorized or removed from the site altogether. DO NOT USE FOR WILDLIFE!

HEY OVERSTOCK, THIS IS NOT A BIRDBATH!!!
I know birds, and I'm here to tell you no self respecting bird would be caught dead taking a dip this thing, unless he wanted to be... dead. Birdbaths should be no more than 2.5 inches deep. "Copper planter" might be a better description for this item.
