After going to several mattress stores to look at futon mattresses, which they only had a chunk of foam showing the constrution of the inside, I decided that Overstock would be the place to get affordable luxury. The mattress arrived quickly and was well packaged, as stated by others. The burgundy color is very rich, so now I am debating whether I should put a cover on it. We will primarily use it in the 'sofa' position, but it did plump up nicely and it fits great in the frame. The mattress is very comfortable. Great buy, great price.I only rated it four stars because I do not know how comfortable it would be to sleep/sit on it for a very prolonged amount of time.(And it's made in the USA.)

We liked everything about this experience... purchase, product, shipping, except the mattress has a chemical smell that is slow in going away. To sleep on something that smelly is counter to what one would expect. Wish my daughter could have left it outside for a few days, but it's winter up here and she needed to sleep on it in her new apartment quickly.

I use this as a mattress for a platform bed and LOVE it!

I received the item within a few days after ordering. The mattress is a great buy for the money. It is very comfortable, full and thick and the color matched the picture exactly, so there were no surprises.The quality of workmanship is excellent.

It is nice and full and thick and is sturdy enough for kids to sit on it and play video games and sleep on it when they have friends over for sleepovers

Bought this for a futon bunk bed in a guest room and was used only a few days after purchased. Guests commented that it was very comfortable and had no troubles sleeping or with space. Good purchase for the price.

I purchased this mattress to replace our old one. We have an oak mission style wood frame. I measured the old mattress to confirm dimensions before ordering due to other reviews I viewed....big item to return if you don't pay attention to details like that. It's a perfect fit. We ordered sage green. It came folded and vacuum packed in a box and arrived quickly as the warehouse is in our area. We followed the directions and laid it out to air and regain it's shape...I can see this was an important step in achieiving optimum loft after the vacuum pack. I think we should have allowed a full 48 hours instead of just 24hrs. However, it's breathed new life into our futon sofa. Wish we'd replaced our old mattress a long time ago. Much more comfortable now. I purchased the sage mattress and a separate cover from O, the Micro Suede Futon Cover w/Double Cording...also in sage. The cover that came on the mattress looks good enough and will work when I need to remove the Micro Suede cover for laundering. So far so good...we've only had it about a week. it does the job. Kind of wish I'd opted for a 10" mattress...just for the added padding/comfort if your going to use it for a sofa as opposed to a bed. I think for the money, overall it's a great value. If it were in a less used area than our living room, and not the primary seating piece of furniture in the rooom it would probably hold up better and longer.

This futon pad is ok, but it's not great for regular use. We've had ours for about two years now, and we use our futon as a couch. The pad we had before this one, we had for 10 years before it needed replacement; this one, however, we're probably going to replace this year. The padding just doesn't seem to hold up to regular use, and the ties holding the fabric to the pad have already ripped in a few spots from turning it so often to try to increase the life.

It came fairly quick and it was fairly easy to put together

this mattress is very comfortable and fit our futon frame perfectly. the only problem is that the chemical smell will not go away. we let it set out for a week before we brought it into our house and still to this day it smells like a chemical. if there is any way to get rid of the smell we would greatly appreciate some advice.

Product came quickly and is a much nicer color than I expected. It is also comfy! It's working perfectly for our game room and as a guest bed.

My mattress came within 3 days and was nicely vacuumed sealed. It's only been out for a day and already is seems like it is to its full size. It's very comfy and I know our guests will appreciate this over an air mattress on the floor. It will also be very comfy to watch tv on. Great mattress for the price!
