My husband and I bought 2 of these mattresses for our 5 year old and 2 year old sons bunk beds. We were so amazingly surprised at the comfort of these mattresses. We have a Select Comfort Sleep Number Bed in our room, and we find ourselves asking each other if we want to sleep in the boys room on the bottom bunk tonight??? Luckily our boys usually sleep together on the top bunk, leaving the bottom temptingly empty! We love it and sleep in the boys room now at least once per week, just to sleep on their mattresses!This mattress has 4 pound memory foam which is the best you can get on Overstock right now. beats out the Serta, even though people will buy for the name.

this bed is amazingly comfy. you must note though that the foam does trap in body heat so you can get a little too hot sometimes in the middle of the night. this bed DOES come with a removable cover on it that makes it easy to take off and clean, but it is not a waterproof cover. You will want to get a mattress waterproof cover though because if a smell gets in that foam material i just don't think its going to leave. that is the only downfall about the foam material, but they are soooo worth it.

Although the mattress appears to be well made and good quality, I was looking for something that was firmer. I read a couple of the other reviews indicating that this mattress was firm, however, this is softer than I expected.The item was delivered within a week and overall purchase experience was very good.

I've had this bed for a little over a month now and while it is better than the spring mattress I had, I wouldn't recommend buying this mattress. I was led to believe this mattress would be on the firmer side and mine has already begun to go flat and stay flat in areas where I sleep most. And since it's all memory foam, there is no solid foam support underneath to stop complete compression to the bottom. While this hasn't occurred yet, I have no doubt that I will have to buy a new mattress again in the near future. Another problem with this mattress is that it's nowhere near the 8 inches thick as said in the title. Overall, I would have to say DON'T buy this mattress if you're looking for something to last you awhile or if your looking for your mattress to be firm.

Its definatly better than your average bed... and for this price, it was worth it! I wouldn't suggest paying the full price for this item, but thanks to overstock(I sound like a commercial... xD) you can get it for a good amount! I used to have trouble sleeping because my back would start to hurt... I haven't had that problem since I got this bed. So yeah... overall, great, thank you~

This is a nice, comfortable mattress - much better than a spring mattress and worth the price. However, it's not as good as the more expensive 14 inch memory foam mattress I also bought from Overstock. I bought the 8 inch for a guest room bed which, unfortunately, I've been sleeping in regularly lately and I'm missing my 14 inch mattress. The extra inches add more firmness and comfort but, the 8 inch is still better than a comparably priced old spring mattress.

If you like a firm mattress this one is for you. My order delivered in a timely manner, it was nicely packed, no damage. I use the mattress on a platform bed, without a box spring, and it worked out great. It is very comfortable, and because it is foam, you get a fabulous night rest! The quality is excellent for the price, yes I would recommend it for anyone on a budget.

This is a good quality mattress. No different than other name brand memory foam bed. There is a mattress cover comes with it. It is easy to remove and clean.Though this mattress was intended for my two giant puppies over 100lbs, my husband slept on it for the whole afternoon and he liked it. He has back problem, and said that this bed felt more comfortable than our own expensive memory foam bed. It didn't hurt his back after several hours of afternoon nap. The quality is good and thick.

I purchased this mattress after looking over all the specs and reading many reviews.
For my first time with a memory foam mattress, I chose this particular model so I would
not have to purchase new sheets since this was the thinnest model listed and it was a great price.
So far, no complaints. It arrived in a timely fashion and plumped up to the expected depth.
Sleep has been good, but the whole feel is something that takes a few days to get used to.

I use it without a box spring on a platform bed, It's so thin that it compresses down amost all the way to the platform itself. If you prefer a firm mattress you would like this one but if not I would go with something a little thicker. If I had to chose again I would go with the 12" one. I'm going to get a matress topper that is atleast 4" thick to give it more cusion and to make it more comfortable.

My husband and I had ordered a 12" queen memory foam for our bedroom (from Overstock). After all of the research, I had been worried about the possibilities of "off-gassing" and the reaction that my allergies might have to the synthetic material. We have loved our mattress, so I ordered the smaller one for our guest room and have been very pleased with it. It was good value for the money.

My brother didn't have a very good mattress and after reading other reviews I thought I'd go ahead and surprise him with a new one. He always complained of back pain and I hoped this would alleviate his pain somewhat. He received the mattress in about 4 days, and only had to unroll it into place and let it expand. The mattress was true to size and fit his frame fine. And the best part of all was that the VERY next day he woke with absolutely no back pain at all. I was amazed that after one night he would have immediate relief, so I couldn't be any more happier with this purchase.

We will never go back to a spring mattress again. Comfortable and supportive. Hubby's snoring is almost nonexistant now! :) Very fast delivery and came in a tightly wound package. When I unwrapped it I was a little unsure at first because it was only about 2 inches thick. However, it filled out to a normal mattress size within a few hours. Had a very slight odor at first which disappeared within a day. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
