Love the mattress - my husband and I have bad backs and had a waterbed before. This is much more comfortable and I don't wake up with backache anymore. It also fit perfectly in our California King platform bed. We had priced coil type Cal. King mattresses and the prices were insane. We couldn't beat this price for the quality of the mattress.
The package shipped promptly and arrived in a tube about 8 feet long and about 3 feet in diameter. I took it out of the protective sleeve and opened it up. Nothing to complain about, it expanded a lot after I placed it into my bed-frame. The foam is great, it is fairly thin but hard to touch anything underneath unless you put all your weight on one limb. It felt super-firm when i first received it as I upgraded from a water-bed mattress, but i adjusted quickly and it is a great sleep now. I purchased this because of my back problems and the mattress seems to be facilitating my recovery a lot better then dealing without it. No complaints other than it had an odd smell (the factory im guessing) from right out of the package but all in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. Hope this review was helpful
Not only did it take a lot less time for the mattress to decompress to it's full size, but it's even more comfortable than we could have hoped! We've slept on tempurpedic mattresses before but they were not this comfortable! I would recommend this product to anyone.
I haven't slept so good in years... this is by far the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on.I don't get up at nights anymore.. Even has quited by husbands snoring!!! the 8 inch is perfect size.
I know that others have had problems with the 8" versus 6" debate in the reviews. To get the mattress to expand to 8", unzip the cover and loosen from the foam when first laying out the mattress. Let the mattress sit for a couple days and you will have an 8" mattress. This mattress is on our guest room platform bed, and that room is now the favorite for guests to stay in.
