The quality of the rug is great. The colors in the picture is somewhat misleading (I ordered the Grey). It is really a mix of grey, brown and tan. The pattern is def not as cream as pictured and is also more tan. There are hints of bright white around the edges of the pattern which is somewhat weird. I decided to keep it as I am using as an outdoor rug over our deck (which has been splintering).

This rug has rather big nubs for walking barefoot but it's great on our screened in porch and collects anything on the bottom of shoes/sandals. Nice indoor/outdoor rug.

I looked for months before buying this rug (9' x 12'), I needed 2.. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the color was of a little and the rug is also on the thin side. The background color is more on the golden/yellow pallet. I was hoping it would be more on the tan pallet. Either way, they do match my outdoor space and I don't hate them, I'm just not too excited is all. I will say WOW on how fast they were delivered though! Hope this helps with other people on their rug search!

I ordered the 9'x12" rug and couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. The rug is exactly as pictured -- very light and fluffy, and an "almost" white color. It is not bright white, but it is white. Not yellow at all as mentioned in some other reviews. It feels VERY soft to the touch and is well constructed. I bought the Safavieh Durable Hard Surface & Carpet Rug Pad 9'x12', which I recommend, as the Flokati isn't thick or padded at all. The Safavieh rug pad needed to be trimmed about six inches on the short side to satisfy my taste which was easy to do with an ordinary pair of scissors. Others have mentioned this was a difficult task, but I simply used the scissors I had on hand in my kitchen drawer. Back to the Flokati...it is a beautiful rug and is exactly the look I was going for in my contemporary home. It does, however, shed...a lot. At least for the first week I needed to vacuum twice a day. Now, three weeks later, I'm vacuuming about every second or third day. I find this maintenance level acceptable, you may not. I have the rug placed over a dark wood floor in my living room. The rug fibers migrate to the wood floor, thus, requiring the vacuuming. Remember, when vacuuming the rug you must turn off the beater bar function on your vacuum cleaner. Otherwise, you'll either ruin your new rug or ruin your vacuum cleaner. Overall, I am completely satisfied with my rug and I LOVE it!

While this rug is nice to look at, it is very hard on the bottoms of sensitive feet. It would be great for an indoor back porch, but not a bedroom.

Blue is darker and beige is more like a jute/tan/natural. Good value for the money, wish the color was what I was looking for.

Even though the taupe/cream colors in this rug are neutral, the visual interest and texture says "Pizzazz!" Our home is contemporary, and we chose this rug to be the focal point of our 3-season porch. It is a well-made wool area rug, with a well-defined geometric pattern. There was a hint of odor from the rug initially, but with a couple days of fresh air running through the room, the odor has diminished. This wool rug is suitable for any room, and the neutral tone will not limit color selection for furnishings. The rug is heavy, and covers a tile floor. The cushioned pile is pleasant on bare feet. There is a combination of upholstered furniture and woven furniture anchoring the rug, and we find no need for a rug pad. VERY PLEASED with this selection, and recommend it to anyone who wants a rug that makes a statement in the room they are furnishing. We have 2 adult cockers who also enjoy the rug, although I would not recommend that young, not-house-trained pets be allowed on the rug. Due to the texture of the rug, clean-up would not be pleasant.

I think I missed the part that said how thin this was! It is more of an outdoor rug than an indoor/outdoor rug. With that said, my daughter loves it for her room. I added a pad underneath it. It does grab every single piece of dust to come its way though, and we have two dogs so a daily vacuum is what is needed. It vacuums very easily though on my hardwood floor setting on my vacuum. Note: It is cream and not white on the chevron--luckily it still worked for us.

I got this rug because we have two dogs and was sick of spending money on fancy rugs that they will inevitably find a way to ruin. The price is very reasonable for a rug of this size, which is obviously great. We've already tested its stain resistance and are very pleased with that aspect. I think the only issue I have with this is that it's exceptionally thin and not even close to comfortable to sit on—I would recommend buying a nice thick pad for underneath if using indoors. Also, because of how thin it is, it's very difficult to get the creases out from shipping. We've had it laid out on the floor for two weeks already and there are still a few lumps. Honestly though, if you're looking for a low maintenance/cost, pet friendly rug, I would definitely recommend this. The color is quite nice (true to the photo) and matches everything in our living room very well. We also use the runners in our kitchen in entry way—perfect for high traffic areas.
