The brown is indeed more plumy or raisin colored. The blue is so subtle and blended with olive around it that is almost looks silvery looking at first glance. The ivory is really a soft golden wheat color or light tan. The red is a dark brick. I already had the 14' runner in this so I knew what to expect. I got this to go in my dining room that is painted brown with golden soffits and cream colored trim with medium oak floors. It looks is stellar! Yes, it will shed and need vacuuming often but it will eventurally stop shedding. This is typical of hand tufted rugs, but hey, you save hundreds to thousands over hand knotted rugs. The size of mine is 1 inch shy of 9' and 1 inch shy of 12' so pretty much right on dimension wise. If you think you like this get it! I have seen this same carpet in a well known national department store for way more than doulbe the Overstock price. Oh, and it is made by Safaveih, so you can't go wrong.

This was the perfect rug for our space. The color is just right. Our only issue we are having is that it sheds more than our four cats!

We are very pleased with this rug. Excellent quality, vibrant colors and very comfortable to walk on. I did not expect the burgundy color to look as close to pink as it does. Actually, I think "Fuschia" is more accurate. Not sure I would have bought it if the photo was accurate, however, after placing the rug in our family room the colors work well together and compliments our decor, adding an unexpected splash. The white background is very nearly pure white. The rug was packaged well, although, the heavy plastic wrap was partially opened on one end of the rug, probably due to shipping. Fortunately, there was no damage to the rug. This rug will shed a little relative to the traffic, but an occasional vacuuming will take care of that. My only worry is staining. Since our kids are all grown, and visitors remove their shoes anyway, we should be ok. :) If you're looking for quality rug with a modern design this rug is one to consider.

i bought this rug for my living room and when it arrived I realized it was a little more rough than I wanted. I moved it to my patio and it is great out there. The colors are not as pictured. The blue is more of a navy and the tan color is a darker tan. I actually like the dark color that it is better than the picture.

This rug delivered quickly and was packaged in a neat roll. It is a little thinner than I anticipated; however, I put a thick rug pad under it. Overall, the design is as expected. The color is a true ivory color throughout. From the photo online, I anticipated ivory/white, but both the impressions and the raised area are the same ivory color.

So I was nervous about ordering a big black outdoor rug, just because I feel like I usually go for the safe beige. But my outdoor furniture has a dark muted black metal with a stone top table and I was looking for something different. After it came and put it down........I love it!!!! It's so contemporary and adds a warm cozy-ness to my big deck. So don't be nervous take a chance!!!! Look rich too! I get lots of compliments on it.

We're using it as an Indoor rug and it looks beautiful; the colors are true to the picture - light tan and terracotta. It looks great on my dark hardwood floors; it really brightens the room. Definitely need a rug pad though. Shipped quickly and without problems.

I saw this rug in a furniture store at a much higher price, so I was pleased to buy it at a nice discount from Overstock. I like the colors and contemporary look with my simple black and white furniture in a gray room. One negative....the pile height is different on the center of the squares and higher on the edges. This makes it hard to vacuum and hard on my vacuum cleaner. Other than that, I really like it, my dog likes it, and it makes a nice presentation.

I would highly recommend this rug to anyone. It is a nice thick wool rug with some shedding which is normal for wool rugs. I love the colors of the rug, it blends well with my sage green walls and looks fabulous under the formal dining table. The room has a very artistic and whimsical feel with the contemporary pattern. The shipping was prompt-about 3 days. Nothing negative to say regarding this purchase.

The quality is excellent! Similar rugs in my local specialty carpet/rug store would be 2 or 3X the price that I paid. I was looking for something black and white, that would make the room "pop." While this tends toward the traditional in the pattern, it works well with my otherwise contemporary furnishings. I also needed something a specific size, 9 x 12 was a bit small but 10X14 too large. I purchased the 9X13 version and it was a perfect fit. Also the shipping was amazingly fast! I ordered on a Friday and it was literally at my door the following day. All in all an excellent transaction!

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

The pictures of this rug online do not do it justice. It is beautifully scuptured and it has a very luxurious feel to it underfoot. I also placed a premium rug pad underneath which adds to the cushiness, although I only did that to protect the hardwood floor. I bought two wool, hand-tufted rugs at the same time from O. and this one seems to be shedding whereas the other one didn't. I am hoping it stops after a few vacuums, but I'm prepared it is a by-product of wool, hand-tufted rugs. The color is very neutral of course, but there are so many different shades of ivory and tan it is hard to say where this one fits in. But, it is beautiful and a great value!

I looked for months before buying this rug (9' x 12'), I needed 2.. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the color was of a little and the rug is also on the thin side. The background color is more on the golden/yellow pallet. I was hoping it would be more on the tan pallet. Either way, they do match my outdoor space and I don't hate them, I'm just not too excited is all. I will say WOW on how fast they were delivered though! Hope this helps with other people on their rug search!

I needed a large flat weave rug that my dog would not be able to scratch & damage so I chose this indoor/outdoor carpet for my living room. The rug arrived as pictured -- it had one large tuft of fuzzy, frayed material which I cut off - the thought of repackaging this rug to send back when the not-too-large flaw would be under a chair wasn't worth it to me. If I had purchased it from a local store I would have taken it back for replacement. That said I like the rug - the colours and design are pleasing and the rest of the rug is in excellent shape. Therefore I recommend this product with some caution.

I love this Moroccan Trellis Rug. I am using it under my dining room table and chairs and it is absolutely perfect. I does not have the look of an outdoor rug at all and could easily be thought of as an indoor rug. I really like the way the white trellis design contrasts against the blue background and the geometric shape of the white design calls to mind a lovely outdoor trellis. I am very happy with this purchase.

This is a hand tufted rug and as such comes with a couple of problems: shedding and a glue smell. I am not exaggeratring when I say we had wool balls on our hardwoods. I vacuumed 3 times a day for 2 weeks and the shedding is pretty much done. Lots of threads coming out of the rug now, so I'm on it with my scissors correcting the flaws often. The glue smell isn't awful. It's like the new rug smell, like when you walk into a rug store. The smell is noticeable only near the rug, but it's here to stay... But that's all to be expected of a hand tufted rug. I absolutely LOVE the design, the muted colors with the nice brighter red accents. It's like having a luxurious antique rug without paying the price, so overall I'm happy with my purchase. That being said, in the future I will stick with hand knotted wool rugs and spend the extra $$$ to avoid the above mentioned trouble.

I ordered 2 of these rugs (8’ round & 8 x 11) based on great reviews. After ordering I was apprehensive as I had neglected to check pile height and they are listed as .625 which is great except that I actually wanted something a little thinner. Trying to find just that right height between indoor/outdoor which is usually scratchy & too thin and rugs that are soft and plush. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened each of them and found them to be closer to .50 than .625. Enough plush and softness that I don’t need extra padding. Delivery was practically overnight, as I received these rugs 4 days after placing order! Color is spot on with my computer monitor for both rugs which was also a nice surprise – beige background with light brown diamonds and white rings.. Neutral contemporary look will give me lots of options to add color with accessories which is my decorating preference. My only neg is sizing. 8x11 is really 10’7 x 7’7 and 8’ round is actually 7’9 and I really wanted those extra few inches but these sizes seem to be pretty common.

Although I don't love it, I'm keeping it. It seems like a well made carpet, although the feel is a little more synthetic that I would like. The photo shows and the description on the site mentions green, but what might possibly be perceived as green looks tan to me. Not olive green...tan. Given that I purchased it for a green room, I'm a bit dissappointed in that. Also, the photo on the site shows a much busier pattern. The actual carpet shows a lot more of the tan background with the geometric border and flowers much more sparse that the photo.

I couldn't believe when I received this rug. It really made my week! I paid slightly under $400 for a gorgeous, 100% wool hand tuffed rug and a 9x12 size at that!!! THAT is a deal. The rug is simply a treat for your feet. It's super thick and warm, pleasing to the touch. In addition to this rug, I bought the polypropelene Lyndhurst rugs also sold on Overstock and this rug blows them away by far! I bought this rug to go underneath our dining room table, and the design complements and looks amazing against our cherry hardwood floors. I highly HIGHLY recommend this rug. For the price and the high quality, you cannot go wrong. I'm actually thinking of buying another one to go in our living room. I wish they had a 10x14 in this particular rug!! :-)

This rug is actually a lot darker than the picture shows. I concur with other reviewers - the cream color is actually more almond/tan. I wanted a clean, transitional look in my living room, and it gives off a more 70s kitsch vibe. So if that's your thing, look no further. For me, it's a little off, but not enough to bother returning it. It also ended up being small for my living room, but this rug was a splurge for us (we generally go for cheaper, indoor/outdoor rugs for cost efficiency and easy cleanup) so it wasn't an option to return it for the larger one. That's a measurement problem, though, because the description states that it is 8'x10'. :) The rug sheds a horrendous amount. I fill up my small vacuum canister every time I vacuum it and it still has loose threads. Because it's hand-tufted, the instructions say that this will happen. It isn't a HUGE deal because I expect it to go away after awhile, but it is a little irritating. So far, we haven't had any spills on it, because I'm a fanatic about my no shoes, no drinks, and no food on the rug policy. I don't expect that it would take well to stains, though. All in all, I would probably purchase an indoor/outdoor rug if I had to do it again. It is plush and high quality, but it's a LOT of trouble and sets its own vibe for your room, rather than working into your scheme.
