This rug is great-it looks good with my dark dining room furniture and is large enough to fit under the table with plenty of room for the chairs to be pulled out. As previously noted, the sisal is a straw natural color. It arrived 2 days after I ordered it.

The area rug had a bad odor from the day it was placed on my dining room "bambo floor". I discussed the situation with a rep from Overstock and they said it would DRY OUT and the odor would disappear in a few weeks. I continue to wait for the odor to disappear. I live in Florida and we are having humid weather, perhaps if you live in a humid area you should consider NOT purchasing this carpet.

After searching for weeks at various stores for an area rug I stumbled upon this one and we could be more pleased. It looks great in our dining room. Love the geometric pattern and the ivory base just brightens up the whole room. I like that it is not super thick pile for ease of sliding dining room chairs in and away from the table….overall a great find and at a great price!!!

The description says .625 in. thick, its not. Its as thin as an indoor/outdoor carpet. The field color is dark beige, not ivory or cream. This rug should be in a cabin or beach house, NOT a traditional dining room. If you're looking for a more formal rug, do NOT order this one, you'll be greatly disappointed. This rug is meant for an extremely casual lake house/cabin type environment. Website does not accurately describe this rug, very misleading. BEWARE!! I am returning this rug.

I love the raised pattern on this rug. It's the difference that makes a outdoor style sophisticated enough to put in my dining room while still maintaining the casual look I wanted. I have a medium dark pine tressel table with bench seating. I purchased cream bench cushions and it all goes together beautifully! The rug was so lightweight I was afarid it would look cheap. I did purchase a medium thick rug pad for it and it looks and feels like a quality rug! The weight factor is a plus in that if I need to clean it ( having 7 grandchildren and two dogs) I can eaisly take it outdoors and hose it off. I would defiantly recomend this to family and friends.

I love this Moroccan Trellis Rug. I am using it under my dining room table and chairs and it is absolutely perfect. I does not have the look of an outdoor rug at all and could easily be thought of as an indoor rug. I really like the way the white trellis design contrasts against the blue background and the geometric shape of the white design calls to mind a lovely outdoor trellis. I am very happy with this purchase.

I have this rug under my dining room table. With four children under 6 it has held us very well to all they can give it! I have "mopped" areas with bigger spills and it cleans well. After a meal, I just vacuum up crumbs etc. My Dyson has started to fuzz up the edges ever s slightly but that said it has really taken a beating and still looks great.

The rug is not plush - you will need to get a rug mat to place underneath. It has the feel of sisal and it is definitely an indoor/outdoor rug as advertised. I am using it in my dining room and it is perfect for the room! The pattern and color is beautiful!

After I finally found a 9 x 12 herringbone weave fiber rug on Overstock at a great price, I ordered the 8 x 10 to match for my dining room....Great match and I am very, very happy with both my purchases...Probably wouldn't like these if you had small children playing on them as they are somewhat rough, but for my use, they are perfect.

A nice, large rug. Color online is close to what that rug actually looks like. It is softer than what I expected for a sisal rug. Perfect for under my large dining room table

Super price for this huge rug. We have it in our dining room and I like that it's not plush. It has a weave like sisal or similar outdoor type rugs (in case we spill food, just hose it down outside!). Would definitely order again. I do feel that the color of the rug on the floor shows are blues than the picture represents, but that could just be my eyes.

I have been searching for a woven sisal or jute rug for my dining room, but was told by our local carpet store that the natural grass fibers would be difficult to clean. Still wanting the woven look, I ordered this carpet that has the look of jute but is easy to clean. It is thin enough so that chairs slide effortlessly on top. The graphic print is amazing and adds an unexpected, contemporary flair to my dining room. I was a little skeptical when I read that this was an "indoor/outdoor" carpet, however, I would not hesitate to use this carpet in any room. Graphic print rugs are so fashion forward and the design is really beautiful. If you have a bold personality, this is the rug for you!

I ordered this rug for my dining room. I am extremely happy with it. The colors and raised design are beautiful. The background looks like a sisal weave but is soft. I have had it now for a couple weeks, the edges laid flat after just a couple days. I have only vacuumed this rug once since I have had it, because of the colors and design nothing shows up on it. I would recommend this rug, as well as overstock, their prices are the best and shipping is fast.

I ordered this rug to cover the center of our dining room that had inlaid carpet measuring 12.4 ft x 7ft. When the rug arrived I was so excited about it because it was absolutely beautiful and softer than I thought an indoor/outdoor rug could be. But when we rolled it out over the carpeted area and it nowhere near covered the space, I was so disappointed. While the dimensions claim that the rug is 12.6 ft long, it is only about 11.10 ft long...Not even 12 feet. I double checked the sticker on the rug and it says 12.6 feet but is an inaccurate measurement. It arrived the day before the event I needed it for and I have to return it with no time to find a replacement. Very disappointed.

I received the rug 3 weeks ago. It brings a modern, geometric yet cultural/ethnic feeling to our dining room. The geometric pattern and simple colors are timeless and modern, while the pattern of octagons is ethnic/cultural. We purchased the 8x12 size rug and placed it under our dining room table. Our table seats 8 people and is perfectly square, so we placed the rug underneath it so that its position was opposite to the table's position, turned the rug a full 180 degrees in relation to the table-top position, if that makes sense, which really makes the rug stand out and breaks up the "matchy-matchy" effect that would have otherwise occurred if we placed the rug perfectly "square" under the square table. Our table is a re-claimed light colored, bleached and faded wood table that is very antique looking, distressed, and unpolished, and we have 8 chairs with the table which are off-white leather, very new and modern, with chrome legs. So the entire look is very "hip" and makes for a great design statement, we get tons of compliments! Rug is holding up great under the 8 chairs being pulled across it, as we eat dinner at the table every night. Also spills clean up well and wipe right off, since it is an indoor/ outdoor rug. Very happy with this purchase!

I needed a large (but inexpensive) rug for my living room...one purpose to help our modular sectional sofa not slip and move constantly on the laminate floors. Also needed something inexpensive for the time being as we might not stay in this house for long. well this rug seemed to fit the requirements. It was one of the few rugs under 200 bucks on overstock that was close to 8 x 12 in size. Some other reviewers had pointed that although advertised as indoor/outdoor rug, there was nothing "outdoor" about this rug and most customers seemed to have bought it for living room/bedroom/home office etc. After reading the reviews I went a head and ordered. When it arrived, I could clearly see why it was advertised as indoor/outdoor rug. It's because of the background, it has that outdoor rug look that most outdoor sisal rugs have (the picture does not show the background clearly). However, the fibre in the background is still soft and does not feel rough to your feet. This is not to say, that the rug does not work or look beautiful in my living room right now. Actually it looks quite stunning with my chocolate brown sectional on top. Also, as I said not rough to walk on. It is obviously not plush as you can judge by pile size given in the description, but the leaf pattern is soft. Also, reading other reviews I ordered non slip rug pad (cost 35 bucks) to be on the safe side. the whole thing just works and our sofa does not slip.

I was thrilled when I received my rug(s). I previously purchased two runners and now I am ordering the 9x12. But you have to know that the rugs on this site labeled indoor/outdoor are basically mats. They are thin like a sea grass or sisal rug. If you've purchased sea grass or sisal in the past or if you like the look but want more options, this category of rugs are a perfect alternative. They provide bold prints that can anchor a space nicely for a fraction of the price of a wool area rug, however I totally understand someone purchasing a rug like this for the first time and expecting a typical thicker pile area rug would be very disappointed. In my home, I have used the rugs both on hardwoods and on carpet and they need a rug mat or floor tape or prevent slippage, but my dogs and children have done a lot to them and they can withstand anything. They simply don't stain and they can be dragged outside and sprayed down with a hose (which I've never had to do).

The colors are exact and I love the bold red and geometric pattern. I was looking for a sturdy, stylish rug. I feel like it will hold up with my two young kids, but it looks great in my living room. It's not a cozy, soft rug, but it'll be in our living room, so that's not a priority for me.

I purchased this sisal rug to go in a garage conversion to a sunroom. I didn't want to get anything that would fade, as the room will receive a lot of natural light. This rug seems to fit that bill. The color is excellent, sort of a silver green border that works with my wall color well. I had a little bit of a challenge unrolling and installing it because it was wrapped backwards on the roller, but all-in-all this is a nice rug and I am glad I purchased it. I am considering getting another for under my dining table.
