Good quality sisal carpet with backing. We have it on our screen porch and it is perfect.

Love this rug - looks like one you see in catalogs at a fraction of the price. It is not Sisal as the description states, definitely a chunky jute. Soft enough to walk on in bare feet.

This hand woven rug started unweaving after 1 week. It looks awful--piles of material on the top. I will probably have to throw it out and replace it with a machine woven rug. Looks good at first but starts unraveling almost immediately. Would not recommend it to anyone.

The loops become loose very easily, and it wears poorly. I have had mine for 2 weeks and I can already see that it will not be something that will hold up well. However, I have 2 children and two dogs. It is a beaultiful color and has amazing hightlights in it. I would recommend this to someone who uses it in a room with low traffic.

This indoor/outdoor area rug is the PERFECT compliment to my deck. I have a large (20x40') deck that I have this rug on one end with a conversation set and this rug is everything I expected! It's beautiful and the color and design are just wonderful. I couldn't have made a better selection. I did take a long time, mulling over different rugs and this one ended up being my choice and I am so glad I picked it. It is sturdy and well made and the design goes well with the cushions on the couches, which are a brocade design in taupe. I am SO glad I purchased this! Thank you, Overstock.com for another great buy!!!!

This is a pretty rug. Love the color. Coloring was mixture of light and dark fibers. Beware though, there are pieces of hard grass and small sticks sewn into the rug in somes places (not entire rug) that are sharp when you step on barefoot. I know it's a natural fiber rug, but sticks are little to natural for my liking or my feets liking. Having said that, we are not returning the rug probably because of the hassle of return shipping and it was a great buy. Get what you pay for...

I purchased this rug about 9 months ago . I also purchased a rug pad as this is a short pile rug. It lays beautifully and the geometric patten really adds dimension to the room. Make sure you enlarge the pictures of this rug to see the actual pattern. The original picture doesn't do it justice.

i bought this rug for my living room and when it arrived I realized it was a little more rough than I wanted. I moved it to my patio and it is great out there. The colors are not as pictured. The blue is more of a navy and the tan color is a darker tan. I actually like the dark color that it is better than the picture.

This is very perfect chunky rug. The quality and price are excellent. I've bought other sisal rugs that don't compare at all to the quality of this rug.

This was a really great looking rug. I was hoping to put it in my dining room, under the table, but it had a little too much texture, and too thick. A relative stopped by, saw it rolled up and asked if they could buy it...which they did. So I get to see it a couple times a week. It's in their living room, the color is great and the texture works with their Contemporary furnishings. It's held up well through two children, all their friends, and a dog. Great value!

I love blue and white, and tend to buy very traditional things for my home. My husband and children were surprised that I bought something so graphic. I usually buy things with paisley, plants, and flowers. This Moroccan rug seems to be very well made, and it adds just the right amount of color to my covered patio. Everyone who sees it immediately asks if it's an outdoor rug, probably worried that I need to bring it inside. I am so pleased!

Has the wonderful look of a sisal, but with softness! Texture is beautiful - everyone that comes over comments on the rug and wants to know where I got it from. Only minor downfall - a little shedding - but it has dissipated after a few months.

Ordered this rug to get the herringbone pattern as it appeared more 'dressy' and refined for my living room. When it arrived, I first thought they'd sent the wrong rug as the weave was so open and course that the herringbone was not apparent. It also appeared to be woven from rope vs grass, and looked like knotted macramé instead of woven sisal. It was also very green as opposed to the wheat color depicted online. Having said that, it still works in my setting and reads well with my fabrics and my blonde stone fireplace....just a different look and courser feel to the feet. I do like the fact that the green border is a softer olive than the bright olive pictured online, and the border doesn't pop out as it would have if the grass were wheat colored. (I had called to see if the same rug were available in a tan border, to blend in better, so at least the blended border is a bonus!) For the money, it's a great buy and minus a few expected nubs and imperfections, it appears to be of good quality. The corners all lay flat and I expect the "roll ridges" to relax in a day or so. The rug is pliable enough to lie perfectly parallel to my hardwood floors seams. One further note, it was advertised as having a canvas backing vs latex, but mine came with a synthetic spun fiber with latex "dots" in a fairly tight grid pattern to prevent slipping, so the non-slip rug pad is unnecessary.

a picture does not portray the quality of a rug - seeing and feeling it however, provides an accurate picture. For the price I think I got a great Deal - I have placed an accent rug on top ..... and it looks fabulous!

I am very satisfied with my purchase. The rug was just as described on the site. The price was fantastic for the size of the rug and quality. I would buy another one. It came quickly and in great condition. My only negative is the smell of the rug! Because it is a natural fiber and was so large (9x13), it has taken about 2 weeks for the smell to go away. I knew it would have an odor when I bought it though. I would do it again!

Got this for a family room area. Fast delivery as always from Overstock. It's decent quality, its scratchy and not comfortable to sit on, but that's the case w/ most sisal/fiber rugs so not a surprise. It was a decent value (a bit lower than some major retailers and because shipping is free) but the tone of the sisal fiber in this rug was very yellow, and it kind of creates clashes in an otherwise neutral room. I would call it a decent rug, but if you're looking for fibers to be more earthy or at least neutral, i would not choose this one. It is a hard pick online because natural fiber varies.

Product arrived promptly and with no hassle and was shipped through the postal service to destination outside the US. There were no complications with duties or taxes. We are very happy with the rug, which we are using in the master bedroom. The colour is very similar to that displayed. The course texture provides warmth to the room and feels great under foot--like a foot massage every time you step.

I live in a rental and I am not a carpet person, but rather a wood/tile floor person. Of course majority of rentals have the cheap contractor grade carpet installed. The carpet was not terribly stained at all, but very worn out (contractor grade carpet is made primarily from recycled plastic bottles), well, this carpet is disintegrating. It fills up my vacuum cleaner every time I vacuum, a taupe color shiny powder. Anyhow, I couldn't do the wood floor thing since this is a rental, so I decided to get these jute rugs to cover the entire living room. The rugs are exactly as shown in the picture, great texture, the jute (not sisal as the description states), is beautiful mixture of neutral shades. It is knobby and very heavy! I had to fight to get them into the house. I did vacuum them with the brush roller after laying them down, but I don't recommend it regularly as you might make a "snag". I did not make a snag but it could. They did have some dirt like particles that fall out but nothing major...they are a natural fiber and these rugs were not woven in a sterile hospital like setting. They are about 3/4 to 1 inch thick, well made, very pretty. The color variations from the natural jute will hide any stains well, unless you spill something like a bottle of red wine. I had to lay two of the 9 x 12 side by side to cover the living room floor, you can barely see where the two rugs meet. I'm very pleased. I also purchased the 12 foot runner. If I remember, I will make a post after a few months. The cons...they are not comfortable to walk on barefoot.
