I needed a large (but inexpensive) rug for my living room...one purpose to help our modular sectional sofa not slip and move constantly on the laminate floors. Also needed something inexpensive for the time being as we might not stay in this house for long. well this rug seemed to fit the requirements. It was one of the few rugs under 200 bucks on overstock that was close to 8 x 12 in size. Some other reviewers had pointed that although advertised as indoor/outdoor rug, there was nothing "outdoor" about this rug and most customers seemed to have bought it for living room/bedroom/home office etc. After reading the reviews I went a head and ordered. When it arrived, I could clearly see why it was advertised as indoor/outdoor rug. It's because of the background, it has that outdoor rug look that most outdoor sisal rugs have (the picture does not show the background clearly). However, the fibre in the background is still soft and does not feel rough to your feet. This is not to say, that the rug does not work or look beautiful in my living room right now. Actually it looks quite stunning with my chocolate brown sectional on top. Also, as I said not rough to walk on. It is obviously not plush as you can judge by pile size given in the description, but the leaf pattern is soft. Also, reading other reviews I ordered non slip rug pad (cost 35 bucks) to be on the safe side. the whole thing just works and our sofa does not slip.

I ordered 2 of these rugs (8 round & 8 x 11) based on great reviews. After ordering I was apprehensive as I had neglected to check pile height and they are listed as .625 which is great except that I actually wanted something a little thinner. Trying to find just that right height between indoor/outdoor which is usually scratchy & too thin and rugs that are soft and plush. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened each of them and found them to be closer to .50 than .625. Enough plush and softness that I dont need extra padding. Delivery was practically overnight, as I received these rugs 4 days after placing order! Color is spot on with my computer monitor for both rugs which was also a nice surprise beige background with light brown diamonds and white rings.. Neutral contemporary look will give me lots of options to add color with accessories which is my decorating preference. My only neg is sizing. 8x11 is really 107 x 77 and 8 round is actually 79 and I really wanted those extra few inches but these sizes seem to be pretty common.

This rug totally exceeded my expectations. I have bought a few things on Overstock and have generally felt like the products were worth what I paid for them, but not more. This rug is so much thicker, softer, better-looking and more well-made than I expected! We currently have it in our den and it has the appearance of a sisal rug.

I chose this room for my master bedroom in a home that we are remodeling so I didn't want to spend very much but wanted to cover the cold wood floor. This is perfect. It looks nothing to me like an outdoor rug and has a 3d type pattern as the leaves are raised (the background has a similar look to sisal but is soft to walk on). It took a couple of weeks for it to lay flat but it looks amazing. Really beautiful rug and a great buy! I found the same rug on several other sites for $450-$500 so its an awesome deal, not to mention the super fast shippping! It arrived 2 days after I ordered it. Thanks Overstock!

I bought this rug because I loved the look and thought it would go great in my sons grey bedroom. The rug is beautiful, but it hurts to walk on it much less lay on it. Unfortunately too much of a pain to return so I will bare it for now and look for something in the near future. It for sure feels more like an outdoor rug then indoor.

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

It's lovely, color is good, but it is much more flimsy than we wanted. It's a high traffic area of coming and going out the main door, with dogs and other pets coming a going. It is thin, and even with rug mat, moves too much for safety. Material is more thin plastic sisal than true rug. So it will go somewhere else for now.

This was a nice rug that we really liked, but it did not fit our area correctly which was our own error. We also realized that we needed a different finish in a high traffic area, so opted for a indoor/outdoor "sisal looking" rug instead.
Whether you're moving into a new home or rearranging a room, you may have noticed dents in your area rugs from past furniture placement. Luckily, these dents are a minor nuisance that can easily be fixed, so with just a little work, your rugs can look brand new. If vacuuming repeatedly won't cut it, try these tricks. Removing Dents from Rugs: Use the ice cube method. To fluff up fibers and remove dents in area rugs and carpet, try the popular ice cube trick. Place an ice cube over the indentation and let it sit overnight. Read More
