Really nice rug and I would highly recommend it for indoor use. We put our outside on the patio and it started to wear and fade pretty quickly so if you are looking for an outdoor rug, pay the extra money and get a different one.

This really hurts to walk on barefooted. We bought for indoor and kept it due to big size and return hassle.

I've wanted a seagrass and/or sisal rug for many years now, and this is my first one. I'm so glad I ordered it! It looks fantastic in my living room, and it adds great texture to the room. One thing to note is that it has a very slight green undertone to it. Most neutral colors will have a slight undertone of either red, yellow, or green, and this one definitely has a slight green undertone. It's definitely a neutral color rug, and will probably go beautifully into just about any color room, but if you're putting it in a room with walls that are painted a neutral color that has noticeable red or yellow undertones, this might not be the right rug for your room. Again, the green undertone is ever so slight, but I noticed it as soon as I unrolled it. I was also quite pleased to see that it has a soft fabric backing on it, so there's no need to purchase a separate rug pad. It might have said that in the description, but evidently I overlooked it. I was fully expecting to have to pay additional money to purchase a rug pad so that it wouldn't scratch my newly refinished hardwood floors. Just be aware that if you're the kind of person who likes to sit or lie down on the floor while watching t.v. or something, this probably isn't the right rug for you. The seagrass is beautiful and adds gorgeous texture to the room, but it's certainly not soft. I'm not really a "lounge on the floor" kind of person, and I generally wear shoes, or at least socks, indoors so it's not a problem for me. But the few times I have gone barefoot and walked on the rug, I immediately notice how uncomfortable it is. So it's definitely more appropriate for a formal living room, guest bedroom, or some place where family members won't be sitting or lying on the floor.

This is a great rug! I purchased it for my family room. I have three kids, so I really needed something I could take outside and wash on occasion. I was expecting a rough looking rug, but it looks like a nice seagrass rug. I've received a lot of compliments on it. Great buy!
While they can last for many years, wool area rugs need to be taken care of properly in order for you to protect your investment. Improper care can lead to excessive shedding, fading, and wear; these are not signs that the rug is defective, but indications that the rug has not been treated with care. With the proper cleaning products and a little time, you can keep your wool area rugs looking great. Cleaning Wool Rugs: Never use a vacuum with a beater bar. All wool rugs shed, but a beater bar will cause excessive shedding and abrasions to your rug. Read More
