I love this rug you cannot hurt it. It is under my dinning room table and we have our boys basketball team over on a regular basis. If it can stand up to them it is a hardy well made attractive rug.

Overstock has done it to me again! The description of the color for this rug is so far from what is described I am giving it in review only 1 star. Although I like the design and the quality appears good I can't get over the fact that it's sage green and not taupe. When I attempted to return the fact that I had cut the rug out of a plastic bag that was taped all around basically destroying the bag when removing the rug I would have had to pay out of my pocket for packaging not to mention someway loaded it in my car and dropped at a UPS store. My success on overstock is 40%. Buyers beware! Only purchase items that will return easily.

This rug came quickly and was high quality as promised. The rug looked and felt great. However, it's not beige! The company doesn't even make a beige version if you go to the website. It's called "Olive" per the maker's website despite the beige color in the picture. Against my sage green couches it looked like a sea of green. Overstock was quick to refund and apologized for the miss label. If you need and awesome rug with a greenish color though, this would be a great choice!

Very pleased with this area rug! It's a heavy weight dense fibered rug. There has been some shedding but not excessive and to be expected with natural fibers. I recommend this rug to anyone wanting a quality look and feel @ a budget price! I do recommend getting the non-skid pad if using on a tile floor.

I wanted to LOVE this rug. The color brightened my room, went with everything else I own. (naturals, browns, creams, sages, etc). It felt very plush and I loved the ridges to set it apart from other rugs. Unfortunately, when my two dogs would lay on it their nails would pull up fibers all the time. Constantly cutting strings off with scissors. When I vacuum it, about 1-2 times a week, it seems to get "brushed" up and lose that ridge look. Very disappointed, I have had this rug less than 6 months and it looks much older than that. Perhaps if I didn't have pets and it didn't get much use it would work.

This rug is really good quality just what I was looking for, wanted something that felt like natural fibers, got that, wanted something taupe, cream, a hint of blue, didn't get any of that, the color of this rug in person is beige/brown overall, with sage to mint green and rust, and I do mean rust almost orangey, completely different color pallet, and very obvious, I had read this on another review and didn't believe it could possibly be that off color, well it is!!!! so carefully read the reviews or you'll have an expensive mistake also. I will keep the rug because my living room has enough neutrals to carry it off, and my home is for sale and I need a rug NOW! but if that weren't the case I would probably return it because of color only!

I'd shopped carefully and for years to find this type of rug. I'm a thrifty shopper, and thought that this was a nice, natural alternative (at about half the cost) to having a manmade fiber carpet remnant bound at the local carpet store. In terms of the color, the rug is more drab than I expected, based on other reviews, but it works very well pulling together a comfortable, home-y family room of saddle brown leather upholstery and craftsman style furniture, as well as sage green walls, terra cotta drapes, and burnt orange pillows (from Ikea). Yet, please be aware that my rug sheds like crazy when vacuumed. There is a small amount of pilling, but the rug nap appears to be literally disappearing from regular vacuuming. While some reviewers claim there is some shedding from this and other rugs like this one, no other rugs or carpets in my home have ever shed in such profusion. I'm worried that this rug will be threadbare in a few more months, and that it will be a tremendous challenge to return or replace, but I'll contact overstock about the shedding issue and try to update this review accordingly.

I'm pleased with the rug, but wanted to let others know that it is darker and less bright than shown. The blue is a deep green-blue, where it looked like light turquoise in the picture. I bought it to go with my bright turquoise accent wall. The red flowers are a deep pinkish red color, and the other flowers are a light buttery yellow and mauve with the same dark red in the center. The greens range from sage to olive drab to kelly green. E leaves that look tan in e picture are actually sage green. The beige background is a dark oatmeal color, and it has some minor irregularities that I think are just part of the natural fiber. Still, it's a beautiful rug and fits in nicely with my decor, and makes a bold statement in the room. I've had to de-clutter the rest of the room, particularly items that were on the floor around the walls, so that the room as a whole is not too "busy" with this rug in it. The quality is very nice; it's a tight, dense Berber type rug. I bought the felt non-slip pad to go under it, and the pad was much thinner than I expected, but the rug is thick and cushy, so overall it's nice and soft. The binding around the edges is subtle and nicely done. The rug arrived quickly, exactly when predicted. It's a good purchase and I'm pleased with it.

I got this rug based on the many reviews that the colors were NOT what was pictured so it was a bit risky for me. The red is NOT a vivid red but more of a rust and the yellow is more golden rather than a bright yellow. The green is more sage green, not a leaf green. But this was all exactly what I was looking for and what others had said so I took a chance and went for it. It is just perfect. It does shed quite a bit but it's wool and that's what wool does. It's a natural fiber so it's not like you're inhaling some nasty, man-made, petroleum based, chemical fiber. It's not super thick but it doesn't say it is either. I ordered the non-skid pad and it added to the plushness a bit but really, being on a wood floor, if it sat too high we'd be tripping on the edge all the time anyway. The edge did need to be weighted down for a few weeks to make it flatten out from being rolled but a heavy-ish throw rug did the trick and now it's fine without it there. I love it and an extremely happy with it. This is my 2nd Overstock.com rug and I'd never go anywhere else for one. Prices are great and these reviews really help with any questions or concerns. And here's a tip... if you sign up for Club-O, the 5% back covers the sign-up fee so make sure to join before you purchase the rug! It ends up being free and also gets you free shipping for a year! Wow! Am I ever glad that I shopped Overstock for a couple of months before choosing this rug. So glad I didn't settle for something smaller. It matches my treatment room perfectly and my clients love it. I get compliments every day. Most importantly, the rug's natural fibers feel incredible to work on in my bare feet all day. No shedding, no complaints! Oh, and a coupon I had was not showing up in the online cart, so I called and the operator honored my discount. Super great customer service and delivery was within 5 days of ordering, wrapped and well protected. No smell, no damage. Yay, Overstock.com!

I've been looking at this area rug for several months, primarily through the online sales sites of two major home improvement chains. Just by chance, I came across the same rug at Overstock.com and found the best price and the most helpful reviews. I purchased the rug for a good-sized sitting room adjoining our master bedroom. I had a specific color palette in mind while I was shopping around, and the Legacy light blue wool rug had the perfect combination of colors and was offered in a useful variety of sizes, which eliminated any dilemma of finding the right rug in the wrong size. These are the pros and cons of this rug as best as I can describe: PROS - Rug is true to the online sample color. After reading many reviews that stated that the color was more pastel than expected and so didn't match the online photo well, I expected the rug to be paler and brighter in color, but, to my best estimation, the photo online gives an excellent color reference for prospective buyers. The colors are muted with a subtle deepness that gives a richness and immediate impression of quality to the rug. I've checked the rug carefully in different light (overhead, direct natural, and indirect natural) and have found no evidence of pink wool fibers as some reviewers reported were in their rugs. The closest to pink that I've found are a coral/terracotta color used with a rust colored wool. By-the-way, the written description describes the color as primarily blue with ivory, red, sage, and gold accents. Blue as the primary color is accurate as is gold as one of the accent colors, but "sage" is really more olive and "red" is the rust color I mentioned previously. The blend of colors is very pleasing to me and just what I had hoped for! It works very well in my Arts and Crafts-eclectic style home. - Rug is thick and feels absolutely luxurious under my feet. My grandchildren play in this room, so I'm pleased that this cushy, comfy, warm rug is here for them to loll about on. CONS - Rug is off-gassing beyond expectation. I've other wool rugs, and the only ones that haven't had the initial smelliness were those that are hand or machine knotted/tied. This rug is "hand-tufted" which includes bonding the back with glue and then covering it with canvas. The odor may be coming from that glue, as other reviewers suggested. The odor seems to have gotten better overnight, so I'm hoping that it will soon be gone altogether. We are very happy with the Legacy area rug so far. Beautiful and cozy addition to our home and good value for the money.

We bought this rug for the nursery and overall are very happy with it. The pattern is cheerful and fun, and we're hoping the baby will like all the circles and textures. The colors are a little blah, but they'll do. It's actually a bit more colorful than the picture but changes with the light and view angle. During the day with natural light, the greens and aqua brighten up and look great, but at night with incandescent lights they fade back and the rug as a whole looks a lot more beige/brown. Still, I'm not unhappy. It's a fine rug for the price. I normally don't buy synthetic fiber rugs and was concerned about off-gasing, but there is very little odor with this rug.

Nice thick rug - The colors are burguny, denim blue, beige, sage green and different shades of taupe, tan and the outer edges are brown. Truly a beautiful, thick rug. Worth every penny! I highly recommend the picture does not do it justice.

Don't get me wrong, I love this rug. It's beautiful and super-soft and my toddler loves rolling around on it and walking barefoot. It also looks great in the intended room. However, the colors listed are definitely "off". There is a strong sage green tone to it. If that doesn't work for you, neither will this rug.

This rug was my first purchase with Overstock and I am very pleased. The rug has lots of colors in it and is easy to match to. I have it in my living room with a Sage colored sofa and just painted the walls in Spiced Gold by BM. I also find the rug to be soft and plush. We had a rug pad already in that room and it helps. I would definitely recommend this rug and the colors online look just like the rug.

Beware of this rug as it appears on screen. I use a Mac so the colors are true to color. This rug has bright RED and Black, and BLUE.. Which does not coordinate with the soft gold, sage, and muted brown. This rug is also very thin and the backing is cheap. I sent it back before I even rolled the whole thing out.

I thought this rug would be really dark and dreary, because of the picture, until I received it. It is beautiful-colors are good and it looks very nice. Is soft to lay on and walk on. Colors are cream, tans, golds, a little maroon and a what I would call a bluish gray color, not sage...but that could be the lighting in my living room. It arrived very quickly and we are very pleased with it. It cleans up beautifully.

OMG! This rug is fabulous! It arrived super quick and is already perfectly placed in my living room. The colors are lovely and tie my sage green walls together with my dark brown leather furniture beautifully. The perfect touch to soften the look of the living room. I have been looking for this rug on other sites and cannot believe the deal I got. Yay me!

This is an elegant rug that fit my living room perfectly. The item description said that the secondary color was "sage green". This rug has no green it is simply a beautiful grey. Definitely would recommend this rug for anyone to add a touch of glamour to any room. I paired this rug with white leather chairs and a grey sofa. Love it!

We wanted a rug to coordinate with the two tone green walls and rich wood in our dining room that we were converting into a lounge/playroom for our growing family. This rug had the right balance of mature colors and fun bold circles. I like the rug better at night under the slightly yellow tungsten (normal light bulb) light. During the day the colors are slightly paler and colder than in the picture. About the colors: the picture is very close - the red is pure red, the black is true black, the blue/gray is more gray than blue and that surprised me, the yellow in the circle is more of pale cream, so that overall the rug is slightly less warm than the picture, but not much. This rug lies open and uncluttered in the middle of the room, so the bold design becomes the focal point of the room and invites adults and children alike to spread out on the floor, which is what we wanted. My wife is still concerned that it might be too busy. There's a chance we might send it back and go with a light yellow rug, but not because there's anything wrong with this rug. The fibers are relatively fine (small diameter) and soft, trimmed (a slight bevel) in between the colors, and the pile is dense, the cotton backing is supple and relaxes quickly to spread out flat. Overall it is a very high quality rug with rich natural colors. The design reminds me of the design patterns found in Klimt paintings, which I love. I would recommend this rug to people who share my sense of style.
