I love this Moroccan Trellis Rug. I am using it under my dining room table and chairs and it is absolutely perfect. I does not have the look of an outdoor rug at all and could easily be thought of as an indoor rug. I really like the way the white trellis design contrasts against the blue background and the geometric shape of the white design calls to mind a lovely outdoor trellis. I am very happy with this purchase.

I am very pleased with this carpet even though the red was not as bright as I thought it would be. It may even have a hint of rust color. But it still looks fantastic with my white outdoor furniture and red garden umbrella. I am happy about my choice and receive many compliments.

Just unrolled this rug in my new office. Seems to be well made. Lays flat already. I absoultely love the pattern/design. The rug itself is worth 5 stars. However, I am really disappointed in the color. Based on questions and answers on the product page and product reviews, I was led to believe that the main color of this rug was RED. Hardly. It's BURGUNDY and not even a very pretty burgundy. It's a rust-burgundy. Very disappointed, but probably won't send it back since that's a lot of hassle. I'll just sit here every day wishing it was red. lol

Quality is very good. Uniform hooking, colors vibrant and decent plush. I wanted to love it but It is really rust and navy/not black as described on line. It didn't go at all. Sent it back.

I've been looking at this area rug for several months, primarily through the online sales sites of two major home improvement chains. Just by chance, I came across the same rug at Overstock.com and found the best price and the most helpful reviews. I purchased the rug for a good-sized sitting room adjoining our master bedroom. I had a specific color palette in mind while I was shopping around, and the Legacy light blue wool rug had the perfect combination of colors and was offered in a useful variety of sizes, which eliminated any dilemma of finding the right rug in the wrong size. These are the pros and cons of this rug as best as I can describe: PROS - Rug is true to the online sample color. After reading many reviews that stated that the color was more pastel than expected and so didn't match the online photo well, I expected the rug to be paler and brighter in color, but, to my best estimation, the photo online gives an excellent color reference for prospective buyers. The colors are muted with a subtle deepness that gives a richness and immediate impression of quality to the rug. I've checked the rug carefully in different light (overhead, direct natural, and indirect natural) and have found no evidence of pink wool fibers as some reviewers reported were in their rugs. The closest to pink that I've found are a coral/terracotta color used with a rust colored wool. By-the-way, the written description describes the color as primarily blue with ivory, red, sage, and gold accents. Blue as the primary color is accurate as is gold as one of the accent colors, but "sage" is really more olive and "red" is the rust color I mentioned previously. The blend of colors is very pleasing to me and just what I had hoped for! It works very well in my Arts and Crafts-eclectic style home. - Rug is thick and feels absolutely luxurious under my feet. My grandchildren play in this room, so I'm pleased that this cushy, comfy, warm rug is here for them to loll about on. CONS - Rug is off-gassing beyond expectation. I've other wool rugs, and the only ones that haven't had the initial smelliness were those that are hand or machine knotted/tied. This rug is "hand-tufted" which includes bonding the back with glue and then covering it with canvas. The odor may be coming from that glue, as other reviewers suggested. The odor seems to have gotten better overnight, so I'm hoping that it will soon be gone altogether. We are very happy with the Legacy area rug so far. Beautiful and cozy addition to our home and good value for the money.

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I love this rug! The tiled designs are a low pile tuft, and the background beige is a low weave. I love the pale green and the pale turquoise, also the browns and rust red colors. Has worn well a year later. No shedding, either.

We received the rug a few days after ordering it (speedy service!). We have light wood floors and a brown couch. The the rug really tied the two pieces together very nicely. The color is better and more vibrant than on the computer screen. It is also a really good quality. I am anticipating no shedding. We were originally concerned with how the pattern was going to look, because it was hard to judge from a small image (our concern was that it was going to be too busy, the geometric shapes were going to be condensed) - but it turned out to be just the right design. There is just enough design in the geometric shapes to not be too bland or too distracting. Our home is more modern, and it is perfect! It would work well in a modern room or a traditional home. Extremely pleased with this purchase.
While they can last for many years, wool area rugs need to be taken care of properly in order for you to protect your investment. Improper care can lead to excessive shedding, fading, and wear; these are not signs that the rug is defective, but indications that the rug has not been treated with care. With the proper cleaning products and a little time, you can keep your wool area rugs looking great. Cleaning Wool Rugs: Never use a vacuum with a beater bar. All wool rugs shed, but a beater bar will cause excessive shedding and abrasions to your rug. Read More
