So I was nervous about ordering a big black outdoor rug, just because I feel like I usually go for the safe beige. But my outdoor furniture has a dark muted black metal with a stone top table and I was looking for something different. After it came and put it down........I love it!!!! It's so contemporary and adds a warm cozy-ness to my big deck. So don't be nervous take a chance!!!! Look rich too! I get lots of compliments on it.

I just received this rug yesterday...very, very fast delivery...waited an extra week or two hoping someone would review it and comment about the color and then decided to take the plunge anyways. Here is what I can say about the color: the color on-line is accurate, it is a light green/silver rug with some beige tones. The tag on the back says "beige" but it's more of a green/silver. It has a very pretty almost metalic shine in the light. The weave is tight and great quality and not super plush but soft. I will be ordering a thick rug pad to go underneath. We searched high and low to find something in a local store this size and found something almost similar for 2.5 times more and then on-line for 3.5 times more so I felt confident enough to order. Note this is really made by Suyra Rugs - Mugal Style. Overall, for this size and quality, it is a great deal and is the perfect compromise between my husband and I and will let us do anything else with the room colors since it is so neutral. It looks like it has a small border in the picture but it really doesn't, which is fine for us.

The rug is very nice, but it is more of an outdoor rug than an indoor rug. The weave on the rug is very open, but with a nice rug pad, it can be fine for indoor use. We have heavy furniture that sits on the rug, so we needed something durable, and this definitely does the job! The green color of the rug is a tad bit brighter than what is shown in the picture.

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

Although I don't love it, I'm keeping it. It seems like a well made carpet, although the feel is a little more synthetic that I would like. The photo shows and the description on the site mentions green, but what might possibly be perceived as green looks tan to me. Not olive green...tan. Given that I purchased it for a green room, I'm a bit dissappointed in that. Also, the photo on the site shows a much busier pattern. The actual carpet shows a lot more of the tan background with the geometric border and flowers much more sparse that the photo.

This is an absolutely stunning rug, the likes of which you will never find in a big box store. The pattern (repeat) is quite large, on a 9 x 12 rug, the repeat, which I think resembles an owl, is 3.5 across and 4.5 deep. The pictures used to advertise this rug are of a smaller size - so I wanted to point that out. The colors are very different from the various sites however. The photos on Safevieh site and on this site show a dark chocolate rug with vibrant orange and green floral designs. I was nervous that the rug would look a little too 70's with that color combination but it is hard to find a orange/rust toned rug that would work in an arts & crafts style living room. The description of the rug here mentions a charcoal background, that is inaccurate too. My best description of the rug is muted browns and camel tones. The background is a dusty chocolate brown, the large flowers are a camel shade leaning to the dusty orange spectrum. The other tones in the rug are ivory, rust, and a muted light-mid olive (almost a moss shade). If you google images of the item number MET985b, you will see that most of the photos reflect a bright rug, and one company shows a washed out overlit rug. The reality lies between the two. But I am very pleased with this rug. I think the muted colors will work better than extreme brights. I have chocolate leather furniture and hardwood floors and this rug makes the room. It looks like you could have had it forever, but is stylish and not dated looking. My style is arts & crafts with a traditional bent, and this looks perfect. **I will add that the rug arrived folded up . I wasn't expecting that. I'm hoping it flattens out and lies straight because I still have a few large ripples in it. I purchased the thick felt underpad based on the reviews of similar rugs, and it pairs very nicely with the rug.

I ordered 2 of these rugs (8 round & 8 x 11) based on great reviews. After ordering I was apprehensive as I had neglected to check pile height and they are listed as .625 which is great except that I actually wanted something a little thinner. Trying to find just that right height between indoor/outdoor which is usually scratchy & too thin and rugs that are soft and plush. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened each of them and found them to be closer to .50 than .625. Enough plush and softness that I dont need extra padding. Delivery was practically overnight, as I received these rugs 4 days after placing order! Color is spot on with my computer monitor for both rugs which was also a nice surprise beige background with light brown diamonds and white rings.. Neutral contemporary look will give me lots of options to add color with accessories which is my decorating preference. My only neg is sizing. 8x11 is really 107 x 77 and 8 round is actually 79 and I really wanted those extra few inches but these sizes seem to be pretty common.

This is a great rug for the money! The colors are true to the picture that was shown. It is actually softer than I expected with it being for indoor/outdoor use. (we are using it in our living room) Very happy with it.

The colors in the rug are really pretty, a llight greyish blue, sage green, and the red makes it pop. My decor is a mix between contemporary and Pottery Barn and this rug works perfect. A good vacuum with my Dyson when I first layed it down helped get rid of the shedding. I would highly recommend!

Purchased this large indoor/outdoor rug for our basement basement (yes, that's on purpose - we call it "The Bowels of Zurg's Fortress"). It's an unfinished space, ugly and cob-webby, but we wanted to turn it into a habitable space for guests until we're able to fully remodel it (just bought the house six months ago). So we painted, removed ugly, poorly crafted shelving, cleaned up the webs, and bought this rug to cover the ugly green, cracked concrete floor. It classes the space up beyond words! I feel like Candice Olsen, truth be told (heehee). It's very thin, as you'd expect of an indoor/outdoor rug, but the design is GORGEOUS, and the colors are very accurate (I use a Mac laptop). It's not soft SOFT, but it's comfy enough (especially for The Bowels), and we're exceedingly happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone trying to bring either an indoor OR outdoor space up a notch or two without spending their life savings. The price simply CANNOT be beat. LOVE Overstock!!!

I like the rug; but the stripe I saw as green is really chocolate brown. You can definitely see the machine striping through the whole rug--I was kinda hoping the colors would look more solid. Nevertheless, it is soft to walk on and makes my screened deck much more cozy. Nice contemporary look to it. ;)

I read reviews of this item before purchasing and was convinced it was the product for me. They and I were right! Having enjoyed this beautiful rug now for several months, I can attest to its durability and comfort. My cats enjoy it, although they tend to use it for a scratching post, I can detest no real damage! The rug is really nice underfoot and compliments my den area which while connected to an open floor plan, is easily delineated by this stylish additional. Although it is marketed as an outdoor rug, as other customers observed, it truly works well indoors too. Mine is in a sunny room that plays up the beautiful turquoise and green tones of the lively, yet "neutral" pattern. And again, I detect no color deterioration by this exposure. This rug blends into my decor enhancing the primarily dark-stained hardwood flooring and a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture. This one's a keeper, would that it came in other colors, patterns, I'd buy it again!

Very nice quality and thick. Nice contemporary style. It is dark, so be warned it may darken the room. It is grey, black and a slightly dark reddish in the middle. I don't see a green tint like another reviewer. The pattern looks more like stripes and less blended than it does in the online picture however.

Shipped very quickly, here in just a few days. Colors are very vibrant and very well represented in picture. Stated it is an outdoor rug, but using it for indoor use. Looks awesome in my breakfast nook. Everyone compliments!! If you are hesitating, just purchase it. You will NOT be disappointed.

The rug is very nice, but the colors are not as indicated. There is a lot of green striping instead of the lighter colors which makes it show darker than anticipated. Unfortunately, we were trying to avoid green at all costs so this was a bit of a disappointment. In reading the color list on the description, there is no green. In looking at the photo I see no green. If you are ok with green, this is a nice piece.

Beautiful Rug, however, it has more of a green tint to it and I was looking for a blue tint.

This rug is nowhere close to the color on the web (no surprise). It's a shade darker than Grey Poupon mustard. Nonetheless, it's very pretty and I was very pleased when it arrived. The problem is that it's advertised as an indoor/outdoor carpet. When it gets wet (outdoors) it can take over a week to dry. The mesh on the back side of the carpet has come completely detached due to soaking water. Had I known that it would hold water like a sponge, I would not have purchased it nor do I recommend anyone else buy it if there's any chance it will get wet. This would be great indoor-only carpet.

I love this rug. It had more green in it than I realized from the picture, but that worked well with our decore. The brown in the rug ties in well with our oak wood floors. The rectangular shape and pattern give it a more contemporary feel than the typical oval braided rug. It feels soft under foot, and the multi-colored pattern does a good job of hiding our dog's black and white hair.

I am happy with this rug for the price. it is a lovely design and the colors are warm and pleasing. it straddles the line between transitional and contemporary nicely, similar in feeling to more expensive pottery barn rugs.

This rug is beautiful however it is not the color portrayed. The color is more of a green tone than yellow green. I have this rug a month and already it is shedding all over especially the edges. I know it is wool but it feels more like jute. Overall, I don't expect this rug to last.
