So I was nervous about ordering a big black outdoor rug, just because I feel like I usually go for the safe beige. But my outdoor furniture has a dark muted black metal with a stone top table and I was looking for something different. After it came and put it down........I love it!!!! It's so contemporary and adds a warm cozy-ness to my big deck. So don't be nervous take a chance!!!! Look rich too! I get lots of compliments on it.

This rug is exactly the style I was looking for. The quality of the rug is not excellent but for the price I would say it is a very good value. It is in my dining room and when chairs are moved across it, it sometimes creates pulls in the fabric.

Although I don't love it, I'm keeping it. It seems like a well made carpet, although the feel is a little more synthetic that I would like. The photo shows and the description on the site mentions green, but what might possibly be perceived as green looks tan to me. Not olive green...tan. Given that I purchased it for a green room, I'm a bit dissappointed in that. Also, the photo on the site shows a much busier pattern. The actual carpet shows a lot more of the tan background with the geometric border and flowers much more sparse that the photo.

This is an absolutely stunning rug, the likes of which you will never find in a big box store. The pattern (repeat) is quite large, on a 9 x 12 rug, the repeat, which I think resembles an owl, is 3.5 across and 4.5 deep. The pictures used to advertise this rug are of a smaller size - so I wanted to point that out. The colors are very different from the various sites however. The photos on Safevieh site and on this site show a dark chocolate rug with vibrant orange and green floral designs. I was nervous that the rug would look a little too 70's with that color combination but it is hard to find a orange/rust toned rug that would work in an arts & crafts style living room. The description of the rug here mentions a charcoal background, that is inaccurate too. My best description of the rug is muted browns and camel tones. The background is a dusty chocolate brown, the large flowers are a camel shade leaning to the dusty orange spectrum. The other tones in the rug are ivory, rust, and a muted light-mid olive (almost a moss shade). If you google images of the item number MET985b, you will see that most of the photos reflect a bright rug, and one company shows a washed out overlit rug. The reality lies between the two. But I am very pleased with this rug. I think the muted colors will work better than extreme brights. I have chocolate leather furniture and hardwood floors and this rug makes the room. It looks like you could have had it forever, but is stylish and not dated looking. My style is arts & crafts with a traditional bent, and this looks perfect. **I will add that the rug arrived folded up . I wasn't expecting that. I'm hoping it flattens out and lies straight because I still have a few large ripples in it. I purchased the thick felt underpad based on the reviews of similar rugs, and it pairs very nicely with the rug.

I ordered 2 of these rugs (8’ round & 8 x 11) based on great reviews. After ordering I was apprehensive as I had neglected to check pile height and they are listed as .625 which is great except that I actually wanted something a little thinner. Trying to find just that right height between indoor/outdoor which is usually scratchy & too thin and rugs that are soft and plush. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened each of them and found them to be closer to .50 than .625. Enough plush and softness that I don’t need extra padding. Delivery was practically overnight, as I received these rugs 4 days after placing order! Color is spot on with my computer monitor for both rugs which was also a nice surprise – beige background with light brown diamonds and white rings.. Neutral contemporary look will give me lots of options to add color with accessories which is my decorating preference. My only neg is sizing. 8x11 is really 10’7 x 7’7 and 8’ round is actually 7’9 and I really wanted those extra few inches but these sizes seem to be pretty common.

This rug was purchased to go under our queen size bed in the tiniest bedroom ever. We needed something that would tie into the brown silk of our comforter but light enough to lend the room size. This is it! Hemp and leather wound together- can you say brilliant? I looked at the jute rugs and the indoor/outdoor rugs b/c they were mostly beige. short-fibered, and contemporary. Alas, out of all the contestants this one won. Our bedroom smells like a tack shop (which as a horse person, I LOVE) and it all ties in together beautifully. Not the easiest to vacuum but the positives far outweigh the negatives!

Mine is on an indoor porch that my cats and their catches have access to. The rug holds up well, can hardly see the squirrel parts and they lift off easily. Its been there a year and still looks great.

I like the rug, I will just move it to my bedroom rather than leave in the living room. I was looking for a cream or beige rug for our living room. We have a blue rug on one side, a sage one on the other - I wanted "neutral" space in between. Not what I was looking for color wise,It is more sage or olive green than cream. Excellent Thick quality rug, be aware that It is patterened (which I couldn't see on line) it's a little more contemporary than traditional. It has a "wavy" line look to it. Not plain -I wish I could submit a closeup photo for future buyers. Again, it's a nice rug, just not what I wanted for that room - it was almost *** so if I didn't need so many rugs, I would have sent back.

The color is not as it appears on my screen (and I use a monitor color calibrator) It looks camel tan and olive green in the picture and a very light beige and sage in person. If I were trying to relate it I would say the online picture looks like it would work in a Tuscan style room and in person it would work better in a Florida style room if that helps. Not a bad rug though.

Quick delivery with overstock and with their sale and no shipping charge, great buy for this size room carpet. Very happy for a 12 x 15 living area in our summer cottage. Comfortable on your feet with a low nap which we needed. Love that it is reversible! Highly recommend and love Overstock!

This is a very cute rug - even though it is different than I anticipated. It is definitely NOT lime...it is olive green, with some light brown and tan woven in. It is loopy! It is not a flat weave...there is a lot of texture (which I really like). This rug needs a nice rug pad if using on hardwood floors - it will slide around otherwise. Really great deal - would purchase again.

Using this rug as an indoor mat for small living space shared with dog. It took me a few days to get over the noticeable quality, color, and pattern issues - but it works - dog isn't slipping on wood floors, easy clean-up, and adds color to an otherwise bland space.

I bought this rug because I loved the look and thought it would go great in my sons grey bedroom. The rug is beautiful, but it hurts to walk on it much less lay on it. Unfortunately too much of a pain to return so I will bare it for now and look for something in the near future. It for sure feels more like an outdoor rug then indoor.

This rug is as nice as any high end rug boutique. Very versatile for a traditional or contemporary room. Heavy and keeps its shape. Needs a rug pad to keep it from slipping. Buy two!!!

The rug was exactly as described, and shipping was FAST! I've had it down in my Master Bedroom for several weeks now, and I love it more each day. I have a dog, and was worried about wear and tear, but it seems to be extra durable. It's almost like an Indoor/Outdoor rug, only much softer. This was overall a perfect transaction, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks!

I received this rug and was a little surprised on how much black that was in the rug. From the picture I thought it would be more grey but the design is in black and beige. Its a very masculine rug and did not match my contemporary style. I returned the rug

I looked for months for a contemporary neutral grey rug that had a pattern that didn't take away from the colors other colors and patterns in the room. This hit the mark and then some. This is a fabulous rug and great value. You will not be disappointed.

I needed a large flat weave rug that my dog would not be able to scratch & damage so I chose this indoor/outdoor carpet for my living room. The rug arrived as pictured -- it had one large tuft of fuzzy, frayed material which I cut off - the thought of repackaging this rug to send back when the not-too-large flaw would be under a chair wasn't worth it to me. If I had purchased it from a local store I would have taken it back for replacement. That said I like the rug - the colours and design are pleasing and the rest of the rug is in excellent shape. Therefore I recommend this product with some caution.

The area rug is very stylish and contemporary. It has nice colors even though the picture shows up more gray it's has more of a blue gray color. I really liked the rug so even though the color was a little off I am still going to keep it. As for the pile of the area rug it's thick and comfortable under the feet.

I was looking for a sisal rug that was more complemetary to my new cooler gray/white/cream/expresso interiors and this rug was perfect!, The sisal is a more pale weave than my older sisal rugs and seems much softer. The gray trim is so "on trend" and blends well with more contemporary looks. I bought another one for my mother in law for her newly remodeled beach cottage and it looks fantastic! I highly recommnend this rug
