This really hurts to walk on barefooted. We bought for indoor and kept it due to big size and return hassle.

We purchased this item to go in our basement/ man cave area. We love the geometric design and its fairly soft on your feet. Exactly as pictured.

Love, love love this rug. It is beautiful and so soft. I highly recommend for indoors as well. Vacuums well and is soft on the feet. Does not show dog hair - which is a huge bonus

I bought this rug as an experiment, having never seen an indoor/outdoor rug before, and I love it (thus the 5 stars). However, it was a bit different than I was expecting, which may be due to my general ignorance about rugs. Differences: - The color is different from online. It is much darker than the picture -- more of a faded navy color than blue/grey. Also the beige is a darker beige than pictured. It is very colorful and high contrast. It is not a neutral rug -- your eye is definitely drawn to it when you walk into the room. - When I read "pile" I was expecting something similar to a plush rug, but maybe shorter pile. Instead it is... not woven... but picture something more like embroidery or cross-stitch (I am sure there is an actual name for this type of weave, but I don't know what it is). This might be a normal feature of indoor/outdoor rugs. Not what I was expecting, but not bad either. Pros: - I do love the richer color. The darker blue adds some masculinity to the room that my husband likes. - It looks like it will be very easy to vacuum. I can pick lint and small scraps of paper (we had a shredder debacle) off it with my fingers as if it were hardwoods. - It lay flat right away. - No noticeable smell. - My cats have scratched on it and it has held up so far (we've only had it three days), but we'll see how it does over time. Cons: - It is a little scratchy against bare feet. Not uncomfortable, but not a rug that makes you want to lie down and roll around on it either. Closer to seagrass or jute than a plush rug. - You can definitely tell it is made of man-made fibers, and not natural fibers, when you walk on it with bare feet or examine it closely.

The colors are rich, the texture of the rug is soft and it lays wonderfully flat. I absolutely love it. I bought it for use on my covered patio and it looks fabulous out there..... but, now that we've had our first Houston rain since I bought the rug, I can't go out on the patio and enjoy it. This rug IS NOT for outdoor use. It smells like a family of skunks is camping out on the rug while it dries and the glue on the backing is dissolving. Overstock has been wonderful about arranging return and refund and I will definitely buy from them again. I recommend this beautiful rug for indoor use only!

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Love this rug! Came in a darker, navy blue color but we kept it anyway. So glad we did. Love it. Soft on the feet.

This was a nice rug that we really liked, but it did not fit our area correctly which was our own error. We also realized that we needed a different finish in a high traffic area, so opted for a indoor/outdoor "sisal looking" rug instead.
While they can last for many years, wool area rugs need to be taken care of properly in order for you to protect your investment. Improper care can lead to excessive shedding, fading, and wear; these are not signs that the rug is defective, but indications that the rug has not been treated with care. With the proper cleaning products and a little time, you can keep your wool area rugs looking great. Cleaning Wool Rugs: Never use a vacuum with a beater bar. All wool rugs shed, but a beater bar will cause excessive shedding and abrasions to your rug. Read More
