I utilize **** most often for all my purchases but I come here on occasion for items like this. After reading everyone's helpful reviews, I was ready to pull the trigger and buy this. First and foremost, thank you to all that gave detailed reviews. ************************************************** This is the exact rug. This area rug is about 1.5 inch pile and extremely thick. It ends up my 2x7 runner is the exact same rug as this one, but with only a 1 inch pile. We bought this rug for our soon to be first child. We have new hardwood in this room so we chose to put a 0.25 inch rug pad under it and it definitely just adds to the comfort. I won't say it is totally necessary, but it doesn't hurt. A thin rug but typical of jute kilims. Nice coloration and design. Corners flip over easily which could be a major problem if there are youngsters or oldsters in the home. If I did not have beautiful wooden floors I would try using carpet tape. Alas, live and learn.

have been looking for a long time for a rug for our dining room that would have an accent color for our house of teal which is hard to find. Kept coming back to this rug and since it had such good reviews decided to take a chance. Well the rug did the trick for our dining room. Adds the color I was looking for but wasn't over the top either. Looks good against our dark wood floor. It is a nice thickness. Since these fibers are dyed, the rug we got seemed to have more muted tones than some of the other reviews but we still like the color. Wish this rug came in a round for our foyer/entrance area.
