Made my living room pop. It is indoor/outdoor but looks gorgeous indoors. The design is more beautiful in person. A traditional design with a very contemporary look.

I purchased this Teal Trellis Rug for my living room because it was the right size, color and price at the time I bought it. As of today, it's $200 more than the price I paid. Finding a turquoise/teal rug proved to be difficult in the 9 x 12 size I wanted for a reasonable price. I only had 3 options and this one filled my needs more than the others. It was big enough for me to place my furniture completely on and it didn't protrude into the hallway. It was the right color for my color scheme and the pattern wasn't overly busy because it is a repeat geometric. It's a tightly woven, low nap loop construction making it easier to vacuum especially with a cat in the house. When I removed it from the packaging and laid it down there was a very faint chemical smell that dissipated within the day. And the driving factor was the price! Although the teal is more of a deep turquoise (which is what I wanted) the ivory is much darker than depicted and it just looks dirty although it's not. Wish it were whiter but it's not a deal breaker and I can live with it. I've had this rug down less than a week and there is some denting where the furniture legs rest on the rug but that's to be expected with any rug. I haven't had any pilling or shedding yet and don't think I will. Once I laid down the rug and placed the furniture on it, the whole room changed - it was quite amazing how 1 item changed the atmosphere of the living room and now it looks like a warm inviting place to be! Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

I live in a rental and I am not a carpet person, but rather a wood/tile floor person. Of course majority of rentals have the cheap contractor grade carpet installed. The carpet was not terribly stained at all, but very worn out (contractor grade carpet is made primarily from recycled plastic bottles), well, this carpet is disintegrating. It fills up my vacuum cleaner every time I vacuum, a taupe color shiny powder. Anyhow, I couldn't do the wood floor thing since this is a rental, so I decided to get these jute rugs to cover the entire living room. The rugs are exactly as shown in the picture, great texture, the jute (not sisal as the description states), is beautiful mixture of neutral shades. It is knobby and very heavy! I had to fight to get them into the house. I did vacuum them with the brush roller after laying them down, but I don't recommend it regularly as you might make a "snag". I did not make a snag but it could. They did have some dirt like particles that fall out but nothing major...they are a natural fiber and these rugs were not woven in a sterile hospital like setting. They are about 3/4 to 1 inch thick, well made, very pretty. The color variations from the natural jute will hide any stains well, unless you spill something like a bottle of red wine. I had to lay two of the 9 x 12 side by side to cover the living room floor, you can barely see where the two rugs meet. I'm very pleased. I also purchased the 12 foot runner. If I remember, I will make a post after a few months. The cons...they are not comfortable to walk on barefoot.

I used this as an indoor rung in my dining room. It was a great pop of color for the space. It was in a high traffic area, overlapping a walkway to a patio door. The rug held up very well, kept its color, and was easy to clean. I had it for 3 years and didn't have a space for it when I moved. If I had a need I would certainly buy this again. Note: this is a very thin rug, no padding.

Very nice and well made rug. Lays flat and is a good thickness without being too chunky. Color is a bit darker than photo on my iPad and had a subtle woven pattern as the cross fibers underneath are a bit darker. Kind of more ash tone than pic. Not warm at all. Nice and neutral. Overall one of the best natural fiber rugs I've seen.

I shopped around for months looking for the perfect rugs for my newly updated family room and office. I knew I wanted a nuetral natural fiber rug but I didn't want to pay a fortune with animals and kids in my house! I recently painted my walls a light warm griege color and this rug just jumped out at me. I loved the color variation and the border. I was hesitant to order online but finally pulled the trigger! The shipping was super fast and I loved them the second I opened them! Very true to color as pictured online except maybe the border isn't quite as dark. The natural fiber has such a warm grayish barely there color to it. I knew what to expect from a natural fiber rug as far as comfort and this is more comfortable than I imagined it would be for a natural fiber rug and it seems to get softer every day. I also expected there to be some scent to the rug and there defiantly was-in fact it bothered my allergies for the first few days! It wasn't a horrible smell just a strong earthy smell and that went away more each day. I've already had a spill and it cleaned up great as well. I would highly recommend these rugs to anyone looking for this style! I've had so many compliments and I paid way less for two rugs than some places want for just one!!!! Even my husband and kids who wanted a rug for comfort not a look lol are very happy with them!!! Yeah happy shopper! Thanks overstock!!!

This rug has rather big nubs for walking barefoot but it's great on our screened in porch and collects anything on the bottom of shoes/sandals. Nice indoor/outdoor rug.

If you are looking for a thin, natural fiber rug of excellent quality, look no further. This is a beautiful statement piece that could easily handle any high foot-traffic area of the home. With the nature of this material (and the fact that it's hand-woven) you can typically expect imperfections, but this one is surprisingly near flawless with an impressive tight weave. The trade-off is that it is not at all cozy, and a bit rough underfoot. It's important to know this before ordering because not all jute rugs are woven the same. This particular rug is very comparable to either a Seagrass rug or a Sisal rug, in both texture and style.. (ie: rough but durable with a consistent weave pattern). I also like how this rug offers an extra inch from the standard 9x12. However, if you are looking for a thicker, but still tightly woven jute rug with a softer touch, try item # 14175477. If you are looking for a downright luxurious jute rug, and can appreciate the natural characteristics of a softly woven natural fiber rug, try item # 12349082. Hope this review helps in your search :)

I really wavered on buying this rug. The reviews are all over the place. After receiving this beautiful rug I think the disparity in reviews is due to #1 people who've never owned a jute rug before (e.g., they are "messy" in that every few months you have to roll them up and vacuum the dirt that falls through the weave and residue that naturally comes off the rug over time). And #2, it's possible since this is a natural fiber rug that each rug varies in quality a little. I can say without reservation though that I love my rug. It is the softest jute I've ever seen or felt and the style is exactly what I was looking for to go in our den on our tile floor. I don't know how well it will hold up as I've only had it a week, but if it holds up well, this is a rug I'll enjoy for years and at an amazing price. The color is true to the photos and when our young dog is being playful and running across it, it will shift a little (slightly bunch up in places). A pad beneath would probably help with this. I don't mind though. It straightens out quickly and easily.
